Any A64 + 1GB + a 256MB video card will suffice for what you do. Hard drive space is up to you. I think a C2D is pushing it a little for what you do on the computer.

i've never had a problem with their open boxed, most of them are returned because ppl are stupid and don't know how to use it. i.e. i had a open mobo and the bios was kinda flakey all i had to do was flash it, i know the last owner sent it back because of this.
