That must have immense processing capability to stitch frames of a live video screen. This software could be very useful for drawing up a live feed of a 3D building, combined with their Photosynth 3D tech.
This article was in the Australian newspaper about a month or 2 ago, and was explained in far more detail and with more logic than now. The idea itself is sound. The fact that it will reduce the amount of solar radiation that enters the atmosphere is sound. The only barrier for this project is...
My landline connects me to my alarm monitoring security company. If the line is cut, the alarm goes off and they come. If the alarm is triggered any other way, the alarm goes off and notifies them by landline and they come. Mobile isn't reliable enough for that kind of thing.
You know, if you look closely at some of the Flickr pics as someone mentioned before, the power light is on. That internal battery must be pretty strong.
I dont know how people can say Intel suck at graphics when they haven't attempted to make a real graphics chip as far as I can remember. The integrated graphics isnt their best attempt, believe me. They know the GMA 945/950 is a pile of sh*t. However, there is a market for it, so they sell it...
I'm an Australian reader (yeah AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI) , and plasma TV's are still being sold in reasonable quantities, and there is no talk of banning them. However, several key brands have withdrawn from the Australian retail market like Hitachi, Fujitsu, NEC and Philips, who all sold...
I had trouble with both browsers. I just signed out, closed all the browser windows, waited a small while and tried again. Back came the error page - back goes the check4change and refreshing.
I used check4change on 5 tabs, each one reloading 2 seconds after the other to make sure the page loaded, and each individual page on a 10 second timer. Eventually one of the tabs' header text went red and italicized, and it stopped refreshing: key done! Also, Norton Internet Security works...
Well ... ... ... it just feels better to have it complete, and not have to rearm or reinstall. It doesn't matter about the benefits. Also, the genuine things on the Microsoft websites have spac-attacks. And the keys are a challenge, and I (or someone else) must rise to the challenge. Its [H]ard.
Question - is the failure screen "
The site is currently experiencing technical difficulties, please check back in the next business day." or is it the search one? From someone who has got through ...
Silverlight enabled or disabled?
Oh this is really annoying. Refreshing the page a billion times, and occasionally it takes a while, and I get hopeful, but error message as usual.
Anyone have a key they want to PM me?
New message on Windows 7 Website:
Thanks for your interest in the Windows 7 Beta. The volume has been phenomenalwe're in the process of adding more servers to handle the demand. We're sorry for the delay and we'll re-post the Beta as soon as we can ensure a quality download experience.
I just got it fixed - some SM Bus Controller issues, so no network etc. Fixed with Intel Vista drivers - very backwards compatible!! I'm not convinced though. I like Vista.
Haha no worries. I will just have to be vigilant and patient as I sit here running Windows 7 thinking preeeeetttttyyyyyy. And fast. And NIS09 works. But Windows Update doesnt.
BTW Just a heads up - there is an update in the download centre that stops Windows 7 corrupting your revered music library of MP3s. Wouldn't want that to happen now, would we? :D
Microsofts servers can't be that slow or overloaded to be able to download at my top speed, so dedicate a bit more bandwidth to the pages to get the key!!
This list is completely stupid. Where do they get their income stats from? I am a financial planner/stockbroker, and averaging the income of those two lists gives me about 50/55 grand a year. I make about 6 times that (although maybe a bit less this year because of the economic crisis).
I...
Sorry if this was covered before, but I skipped pages 3 to 9. What connection speed would be required to stream the equivalent quality of Blu-Ray? I have a 20Mbps cable connection that runs solidly at that, sometimes over, so would that be fast enough to stream blu-ray quality? 20Mbps is the...
I noticed the X25-E SSD is listed on Intel's website, and is available in Australia of all places. Are you going to do a review of that? I understand it is not in your usual product range, and it costs a helluva lot, but if Intel could send you one, quick benchmarks could show how much fast SLC...
Yes, AMD is hoping people will accidentally buy their processors instead of Intels, so they can sell something.
That was a very anti-AMD post, very sorry, but had to be said.
I have actually seen some benchmarks, and they don't compare to the Core i7s. If AMD is trying to match last gen...
