    Even thought only vista64 supports 4 or more gig of ram I would still buy 4 for a 32bit system. Windows should still recognize 3.5 gigs of it still

    http://www.storagereview.com/comparison.html They have a good set of benchmarks for newer drives but they compare SCSI and SATA. Might give you something to base buying a particular brand or persuade you to go with a raptor.
