This card is great, it can get pretty loud if you set that fan to 100% though. I'm going to grab another one for that fps needed @ IPS 27' 2560x1440 resolution. Still need to grab the monitor. Whats your power draw and temp at 1200/stock mem Rauelius?
ah precision x culprit? I was going to say check the voltage off the power supply when playing a game sometimes voltage can leak bad causing those noticeable hiccups.
I had a capacitor break off a nvidia card and it still works fine today a 7950gt, then again every Ati/Amd card i had worked flawlessly, due to bitcoin I sold my ATI cards for a profit : ).
hmm, get this and somehow get a 500R side panel? That 240mm fan is what I want. I am going to email Corsair about how much that side panel would cost to buy from them because $70 + some extra vs $140 is where its at!

Runs very smooth on the low setting, and looks pretty amazing at that @ 1920/1080 .
I was ready to shell out $400 now just to play it but I think this will keep me afloat till the new series nvidia/amd come out with.
I'm actually curious in seeing the BD performance with virtualization. Can the BD actually have an advantage in that field with these desktop cpus vs the 2500K-2600K . Fire up 8 instances of linux/mix match with windows w/e. It is a bit over the top to run 8 or more instances on a desktop but...
Thanks to Bitcoin I sold the 5870 I bought in Nov Black Friday for profit. I knew I should of bought 2 at the time. Chitown rates for electricity suck, with the difficulty increases totally crushed my single 5870 setup for bitcoining.
