Im considering one of these cards.
I need some info about this 28a requirement per connector.
"AMD’s official system requirements for the R9 295X2 call for a PSU that can deliver 28A per 8pin PCIe power connector, with a combined amperage of 50A."
Does this mean that it needs 28A per...
Also depends on how well scale the CF profiles.
If they are bad, see Farcry3 Minimumfps, then the benefits of Dynamic Vsync near zero.
NVidia also has the same Thing about NV-Inspector Vsync Enabled + "Flag to Control Smooth FPS-Behavior with AFR" and even Beyond with FPS Limiter, Adaptive...
Transpareny SSAA is actually very low Performance Hit if they are using at least 2x GTX570/GTX580.
I find it a little bit a pity, the Hardocp not about that reported, at times of a "Halflife2" was praised it at that Time. However, I have nothing against FXAA/MLAA one should also consider all...
Therefore, the HD6990 loses at high resolutions against the GTX590?
Theory and Practice. I understand what you mean, theoretically, the AMD 69xx Single-GPU are faster the higher the Resolution, which only uses this in practice? SLI supports more games, do you understand what I wanted to say?
We are obviously wrong, I think the Hardocp Review is good, but it shows only a very small selection of Games. Alienbabeltech has tested more Games and reflects my own Experience. Gameplay is always subjective, the fact is, but the SLI at maximum settings has more Power here.
This is not true, 3-Way and 4-Way SLI work perfectly in the "old" Crysis, Crossfire has up to now problems. See also at Crysis2...
2-Way Crossfire is ok, but more than 2 GPUs certainly I would recommend not in Crossfire. My Opinion.
The review is very Old and only well-known Games have been tested. What's with the others? ;)
4-Way CF 6990 vs. 3-Way GX580

3 Way SLI GTX580 has more power and works in more Games, more Advantages are open SLI Profiles where you can correct scaling errors.
This is a Must, because almost nothing happens without good Profile.
A Good Review...
I know their problems, I had Tri crossfire. SLI provides the better FPS Feeling, on some German sites, this was also confirmed unfortunately found little in the English speaking world. Although the problem of Microstuttering influenced the game experience.
FPS are not everything, which use 40fps...
At least the Games Selection is quite modest or rather too small to make a Final Statement. Taking 10 other Games, the Result might be again very different.
It is free to use any or not, at the end, Everyone benefits. At a Time where more and more Console Ports appear, you can use the existing raw power perfectly in Better Image Quality.
Either matches or let it, it's up to you.
It is often very Different, more Blur costs more FPS!

In the nVidia forums there is a petition thread regarding:
*SGSSAA without Blur (unfortunately, Nvidias SGSSAA can blur quite nastily. This can be alleviated by changing the AA compatibility bits, but that doesn't always work. And it's quite fiddly to find the right bits).
Refer to this...
What use me high FPS if it is unplayable? The Microstutterproblem is real, and it should be fixed. It is sad that too few sites of report, since it the problem known for years.
There are Microstuttering with SLI and Crossfire that is right. The Problem is but the NVIDIA SLI the FPS output smoother and less choppy. NVIDIA has the better under Control.
Your Comment alone is Bullshit. :o
Unlike you, I know Crossfire and SLI and can confirm the Problems. The "Bang for your Buck" is not Argument. SLI provides a better Gaming Experience.
Its not the same.

This has long been proven, I had both here and can confirm the Problems.
Check this Videos: QuadCF vs. 3-Way SLi...
Only problem of the matter is, the Crossfire more suffers from Microstutter. NVIDIA SLI is a better Gaming Experience. Add the NVIDIA comes under not suffer AF Banding and the Image Quality is better. Speed is not everything,,,
NVIDIA needs no Adjustments, whose HQ Mode filters near Optimum@LOD "0". AMD and NV have problems with negative LOD however so should you be careful to use it!
And yes Nvidia have a Sharper Image:
AMD Cypress:

Nvidia GF100...
Thanks for your Answer!
The Problem is that NVIDIA@HQ (LOD "Allow") has a Sharper Picture with less flicker vulnerability to Cypress. If you increase the LOD now the Image is blurred and this cannot be a Solution. I see the blur if I increase the LOD texture filter clear! About +0.5 is already...
You must start with:
"NvidiaInspector.exe -enableSettingScan" then you can edit all SLI Profiles, a new Nhancer Version will coming later in this Year i hope.
Crossfire has a big Problem that edit Profiles that determine how MultiGPU can be scaled, it relies on exe renaming or ATI their profiles. NVIDIA SLI is significantly better, you can create Profiles themselves, determine the compatibility values and to fix the scaling. There are Nhancer or...
