    there's some dark green/blue lines to the left of the door and also a couple to the left of the tv,didnt have that kind of stuff with my ati. ive been having some success reducing that stuff with shaders in media player classic.

    havent had muh problems with that version.if you want try 84.21 just incase.its old but very stable.nvidia have had lots of problems with there drivers crashing in games.

    well the speedfan temosounds about right. try managing your case flow,too many intakes and not enough exhust maybe? i turned the side intake in my case to an exhust and it helped a bit.i also have 2 intakes in the front,so i figured 3 in and only 1 out was not good.

    Not happy with stock C2D E6400 + Gigabyte 965P-DS3

    just switched my ds3 too ahci and there's a very small performance increase. but its not like i use a raid array or anything,seems a little too unreliabe a way to store suff especially when you upgrade etc.... took me 10 min to get the drivers working and the cdrom to show up in windows again...

    i saw a review somewhere that compared the conroe with a pentium d 805/820. the used the exact same rig and only changed the cpus,results showed a nice increase in frame rates and the min/avg/max frame rates with the conroe were higher. ;)

    well at 425 fsb 1:1 would be ram at 850mhz and then dual channel makes it *2 so its at 1700 and it equals effective fsb (425*4) so pc2-6400 should be enough and timings would be a little relaxed over dimms specs i think. pc2-8000 is still very expensive right now so thats up to you.

    the impression i got is people think the zalman is a pos and love the ninja. you should check out the new scythe infinity aswell, looks like its even better but there arent many reviews yet.
