You can use dual-link DVI or DisplayPort. Your monitor should come with an appropriate cable, and your video card can use either one, so you don't have to worry about the cable at all.

I have this too - I usually run my secondary monitor off of my HD 4600, but Star Swarm and BF4 both crash instantly if I try to run Mantle while it's enabled. Disable the iGPU and everything works fine. Hopefully just a temporary driver bug.
