Yeah those eBay ones are fake. The model on your box shows as "EP-T6530NBEGWW" which is sold in Africa, which of course as a different wall connector. EP-T6530NBEGUS is the true US model.

Check windows event viewer, if you see any "WHEA-Logger Error 19." It's 99% the CPU. If you run Cinebench, you may get it to freeze there too. I had a 14900k that had issues and got a RMA for it. The replacement has been solid.
