Lucky. One of the main reasons I got my monitor was for 360 gaming...lol. But I don't mind, as 21 inches is big enough for me and the picture is amazing. I am in to competitive gaming(mlgpro.com) and they use 20 inch tvs at their events so if I ever go to one I will be used to the small size
Cool 360 pictures, but I would definitely switch to VGA. It look so much better. And also, you aren't getting true widescreen with the component. I don't know why, but if you play pac-man at 1280x768 with VGA, and then at 1080i with component, you will see what I'm talking about. On the main...
I just used the Potrait mode. It was AWESOME. I love being able to go on forums and stuff and being able to see all the posts without having to scroll down. I wish I had a camera so that I could take some pictures of mine too to help your thread grow.
Thank you so much! I was afraid to try to hard, and I just did and it works!!!! Awesome. Thank you.
Actually, it doesn't go really smoothly. Will that just take time?
I might, but I plan on wall mounting it soon with one of those arms that lets do everything. How do you remove the base? Do you just unscrew that square panel in the back?
Cool. I am able to see the pictures now. I have the monitor as well, and I love it. Only problem is, I can't raise it. Can you take a picture of the pin that you pulled out of the back so I can see if maybe mine broke off inside? Thanks. BTW, download the pacman demo and play it on your monitor...
Yeah I checked the manual like a million times and it didn't say anything...
I'm thinking that maybe the pin broke a little inside the stand and thats why I can't raise it. I don't know though. Hopefully it's just that its supposed to be hard to raise. I would pull harder but I'm afraid I...
I pulled the pin out when I first got it, and I just now tried raising it, but I can't. It feels like its just locked in place. This reallys sucks, becasue if I can't raise the height, then I won't be able to rotate it either :(
Anybody know why it won't raise?
Well yeah, of course they are going to be picky. I almost emptied my bank account on my Samsung 215tw, and if it had one dead pixel, I would have taken it back, plain and simple.
What exactly is input lag? Is it a delay from the time you do something to the time it shows on the monitor. Such as moving the mouse or typing or something? Because, if so, I notice none.
this monitor doesn't give black bars. It just fills the entire screen. A lot of monitors do that, and yes, halo is a true widescreen game and was updated for the 360.
Has anyone noticed that it isn't actually widescreen when you pick 720p or 1080i. Sure, it fills the whole scree but it doesn't actually look widescreen. It's hard to explain. The easiest way to see this is to play halo 2 in 1080i, which is the best for this monitor picture wise, and then after...
Some websites, like this one for example, are stretched out to fit widescreen monitors. most others however, are made to fit small 4:3 monitors, so if you have a widescreen monitor, you get a little square in the middle with a bunch of white blankness on the side, lol. Is there a way to make...
yeah it supports both 720p and 1080i with the xbox 360. I play mine on it all the time. Btw, no where in the manual does it mention only going up to 480p.
I can play WoW at very low settings at 1680x1050. The settings are very low, but the game still looks very nice. I tried playiny battlefield 2 at a low resolution with high settings, but my vid card couldn't even handle that...lol. I will be upgrading my card though sometime so its all good :)
eh, it's fine. I finally got the computer to go with this monitor(not a gaming computer just an HP, lol) and it is so nice browsing this site. For the past days, I have just been playing my xbox 360 on it, but now I get to use my comp on it and it is nice. The comp is actually decent btw, except...
I cant figure it out. In the manual, it points to the back, and says use this to adjust the height. I can't figure it out though and I am afraid to try pulling harder otherwise it could break or something :(
Yeah, the screen is very smooth looking, although this is my first LCD to own, so I'm not the best to judge. The higher dot pitch, IMO, isn't that bad at all, unless you sit really really close to your monitor. I sit about 3-4 feet away, and it looks very sharp. The colors are GODLIKE, lol. And...
I cant post a pic because all I have is a very very crappy webcam :(
I have tried all 3 resolutions. 480p for DVDs on the 360(they look absolutely incredible)
720p for 360 gaming(didn't look so hot, kinda blurry)
1080i for 360 gaming(looks utterly amazing)
I have yet to try it on a...
Wow, I'm stupid, I should have thought of that. Sorry :(
Not only am I dumb for not looking at the website for the manual, but I am also dumb because there is a button on the monitor that adjusts the sound....I just didn't see it...
