I can agree with the lack of AA making it not look as good as it could look and the fact that a gamepad isnt as precise as keyboard+mouse but that doesnt make it a bad game nor does that make console gaming not as good.. some people do prefere a gamepad to a keyboard+mouse
Qwars is sorry its...
as a long time gamer of console and pc... I fail to see how u can say halo wasnt good based on controls ths preference whats that have to do with the story line? and graphics what are you playing it on a old crt? have you set it up on a lcd panel? it looked ok to me :o
I do not think you can...
it really depends on the app for some it is double the 6800GT iv owned sli 6800s sli 7600GTs among many others
they are all good cards but the 7600GT has newer support runs lil faster gives it the edge
you will see more then double the difference from the 6600 which is rather slow you figure the 7600GT will push about almost double a 6800GT which is more then 2 times the 6600
doesnt really matter if its a 6600/6600GT more then 2-4 times faster regardless
exactly what I was thinking tho the reg KO can easily overclock just as high and higher then the superclock and is less expensive often.
it also depends on the resolution your gaming at the X1900XT can be slightly faster at higher resolution card for card but mostly on certain games using big...
I find it hard to think that it wouldnt install due to a NIC, I can install Debian on any form of hardware with or without a NIC, I think you just didnt read the screen when clicking things typical from the windows community.
ubuntu is debian btw so I fail to see how it had somthing debian...
X1900GT comparable to a 7900GT .... is that a joke which 7900GT is the comparison
each of my 7900GT's is faster then any x1900gt
X1900XT/oc 7900GT is a comparison ;p
quality on a X1900XT is slightly better but... performance wise the X1900GT is imo comparable to a lesser card the...
really prove me wrong have anything to backup your statment?

was thinking why not 4 way?? dual sli monitors lol gigabyte has those royal boards with 4 pcie-16's possibly run 4 and 4 for the 7950gx??
8 gpus not sure what you would need to max that out lmfao like dual 60" lcds?
SLI has more uses then a 30" monitor perhaps turning up various things a dual 7950GX rig would play very well on a 24" screen or even a 22" CRT which can play at very high res and lot of people still use CRT screens or what if its for just because you can??
lot of people who have the money...
yes very much so put it in dual channel you will go from about 1500mbs/read give or take a few hundred to around 5000-6000 depending on your memory timings and speed your running it at
it does make a difference for encoding, game loading times and a few other random things not to mention 2gb...
both the 4200+ and the 4600+ are good procs and despite the lack of 512kb l2 per core it results in a less then 2% difference not even noticable and iv overclocked every X2 there is to buy on the same hardware and OS images
the 4200+ can overclock easy to 2.6ghz on stock but id recomend...
You still get slightly faster on single core apps because the OS balances many of its running processes out across both cores I find the 4200+ to be the best dual core you can buy and iv owned multiples of each.
the 4200+ overclocks on the stock heatsink with no problem in a decently cooled...
first off who are you or anyone single person to tell a population they do not need 4 or more cores?
I could def use 2 dual 4 cores or dual 8 cores the more cores I have the more I can do, just because you do nothing that runs multiple cores and true 64bit
64bit operating systems have...
well my view is that it is faster cheaper and much better warrenty as ATI's only AIB with a good warrenty for more then 3 years is Powercolor they often cost more and HIS everyones fav on newegg has a horrible warrenty imo iv owned both powercolors and HIS cards and have had no actuall problems...
lot of the 939 abit boards I liked are not even being made any more =( and iv had 2 rma's on my ABIT AN8 SLI

I paid 260 for a 7900GT KO yesterday and its much faster then the X1800 so imo it is, again its all on perception on whats best for the money but iv used both and I like the 7900GT more
the Nvidia card from eVGA is faster has a better warrenty has a step up programe and is very good with...
all a perception
......
and waiting a year for a game so you can get it cheap?
if thats how long you want to wait but games have been on avg around the same price since I was a kid in the 80s buying NES games for 50$ a pop
the new x360 games and im sure ps3 will as well rise to the 60$...
well within offical specs id go with the X1900XT for 355 the X1900GT imo isnt even worth buying better for the same price better for below the price ;p
but then again who cares about offical spec id still go with either a nice 7900GT for sub 300 and the X1900XT for 350
the X1900GT to me...
its not hard to do that comparing to retail mid-high end the market for such is smaller then other types and is not bought in as big of an amount however nice lcds run several hundred dollars and graphics cards and procs run equally high so your looking at like 1500+ for a nice setup for...
