I just upgraded from a 580 to a Titan. The Titan at stock is twice as fast. In the Valley benchmark 580=34.2 Titan=68.1. The Titan is only pulling a few more watts than the 580 also. I can put up some more benches later when I get home. But, yeah basically twice as fast.

When I upgraded from an [email protected] to what I have now the one game I noticed a definite improvement was 64 player BF3. I didnt notice much difference with other games.

GPU usage for my 580 GTX hovers around 60-80%. I am capping the framerate at 60 though.

I notice in the second chart they don't even have a 580 GTX listed. It's like they used a 580m to show the framerates with 301.42. Then used a 580 GTX when they showed the difference between the 301.42 and all other drivers. That would make sense since the 580m performs similar to a 460 GTX.

Am I reading that chart wrong or is he saying that the 301.42 makes a 580 GTX perform the same as a 460 GTX? That doesn't make sense. How could two cards from the same generation perform exactly the same when the 580 is twice as fast. I have never seen that before.

I'm waiting. But the upgraditis is killing me. I just think we are too close to the next card. I think they will refresh the 680GTX in the Fall. Then release the next-gen in March 2013. I'm just guessing though.

Do you have any idea what this issue might have been? I cant find anyone saying anything other than the boot process is to fast for them to get in bios. This did not affect me. Against my better judgement I upgraded to 1504:). I'm still curious though.

Burner27, I upgraded from 0603 to 1406 and just today 1504. My DVD writer is still available in the boot menu. Is it gone from both the UEFI and the F8 boot menu? Have you tried unplugging it rebooting then reconnect it. Maybe the bios will redetect it. I hope you get it worked out.

I just bought an Asus board a few weeks ago and it had the very first bios released on it. Does that board your getting have the flashback feature if it does you can flash without a cpu.

I just flashed my Z77-V Pro to bios 1406. Now they released 1504. When I go on Asus website 1406 has been removed. Was there something wrong with this bios? Should I reflash with 1504? I hate flashing bios always makes me a bit nervous.
