It does feel a tad more responsive. I don't have any equipment to test this on however.
Perhaps the Silo is different in that regard.. although they all use the same 4k panel do you also believe they share the same chipset as well?
My Polaroid has a mode called Graphic for HDMI. Also known as Gaming Mode on a lot of TV's..
Basically by changing the HDMI mode to graphic, the HDMI output (be it gaming console, pc, or cable) bypasses "extra" processing features of the TV that
make the game and TV broadcasts look crappy...
I just used this to calibrate my TV.... wish I could set tint but with digital(HDMI) connections the TV greys out that option. If and when someone gets the service menu code we could adjust tint.
brightness 42
contrast 32
color 63 <This might change if I were able to adjust tint
tint 50...

And here are examples of what it should look like:
4:4:4 display - the "4:4:4" text is darker than the background, and "4:2:2" should barely be visible.
4:2:2 display - the "4:2:2" text should be brighter than the background...
The TV is 4:2:0 or 4:2:2. If its 4:2:2 you will see a increase in picture quality. No one has verified which one it is however it's definitely not 4:4:4.
You don't have to get a 960.. there are display-port 1.2 to hdmi 2.0 adapters coming soon.
I was told to set sharpness to 0 on another 4k display.. It seems 4k is such a high resolution sharpness is pretty much not needed.
remember to set the tv to 60hz on nvidia control panel.. since we're(kepler users) doing the 4:2:0 down sampling to achieve 60hz It might not be doing it...
Before setting HDMI to Graphic I put sharpness to 0 ...but the Graphic mode probably override that anyways.
I agree there is a sharpness to it.. I'm still waiting for someone to find out the service menu code. We can than set sharpness ourselves.
I never lost sight that I was buying a HDTV. It would never be as fast as a dedicated PC monitor... specifically one that's not pushing as many pixels as this TV.
There are other things can effect lag such as the equipment you are using even down to the HDMI cable.. we're talking milliseconds.
I have my TV set to HDMI graphic* with a HDMI 2.0 cable. Don't know if the cable helps but if it can get data to the TV faster..
Quasar has a S-MVA panel. Doesn't the Korean 1440p monitor have a IPS? There are always trade offs. A IPS display cant touch a S-MVA black level but IPS have better color accuracy, viewing angles and slightly better response time. These new breed of VA panels have better response time over IPS...
If you can read the blue text it's 4:4:4. You shouldn't be able to read the blue text on 4:2:0.
What is this TV? ... Why am I able to read the blue text?
Here's a pic from BF4. I tried to do a screen grab but it only took a screenshot of the Origin browser... so here's a image from my camera.. yes my camera suck
petergunn, I run two 780 ti in SLI. When playing BF4 I run the game on HIGH settings and average 90 fps. Ultra setting has me between...
There is one little hiccup however.. when you reboot your PC the TV sometimes says "unsupported signal"
I found a workaround other than restarting your PC a million times hoping it syncs up..
*Press source on your remote and choose another HDMI port.. lets say 3. After it connects press...
