Well, here she is in full nuditity glory. Salvaged the power switch and power supply from an HP server. So if I can get a few PPD out of all this free hardware, I'll be happy.
True back atcha but Smoke and Sunin seem to be getting by just fine until their building managers turn on the A/C. If I know central A/C is right around the corner and I have $300 to spend, I'm getting a quad. :D
Yup, noticed that shortly after I posted. Thanks.
Meanwhile, my little P4 finally downloaded a WU.. it seems a bit chunky compared to the little 1, 7, 10, and 15 point WUs it was working on up until now. Currently working on 3408 (R1, C969, G5) - 388p.
This folding newb must be getting addicted. Today I traded the sound card out of my gaming rig for 2GB of memory so I can add another rig to the farm.
Now, if only all my points from today would start showing up I'd be very happy.

About an hour ago, I just finished my first SMP WU worth over 1400 points. However, I have been unable to upload the results since Stanford is having problems apparently. Unfortunately, the preferred deadline is in an hour from now. What happens if I can't meet this preferred deadline because...
I put the uni console client on my parents 3.2GHz Cedar Mill 14 hours ago and it's done 4 15 pointers since then with a few smaller ones mixed in. They live next door so it's easy to manage it across the wireless network.
I was just given a server class motherboard (Tyan Thunder) populated with dual 866 MHz Coppermines and 1GB of RAM. All I'd need to add it to my Linux network is a power supply. Would it be worth investing in a power supply and the electricity to add this to my slowly growing new farm? If so...
I have a SoundBlaster X-Fi XtremeGamer I purchased at the beginning of the month. I have two Folding systems I want to get online but need memory for them.
I basically need TWO decent quality DDR2 1GB kits, anyone interested in trading?

@swatbat - Up, SGS-Thompson made several 486 clones back then. Here's the full data specs if you want to fully wrap your head around it. They have built in FPUs which made them really nice.
