Got the ASUS tuf 3080 / ASUS tuf monitor bundle for ~$1400 in today’s shuffle. Not a great deal but will sell the monitor, so not super terrible considering 3080s are going for $1500 on the secondary market
Super easy, just turn off FTVLaunchX - It doesn't actually "replace" anything it just launches a different launcher by default, the amazon software is all still fully there, basically it's a new skin for the UI.
It's a little bit of work (~30 mins), but you can fairly easily (without rooting) add a few programs to replace the garbage Amazon UI with a different launcher.
It makes a night and day difference. First install FTVLaunchX, directions and repository included here...
Thanks, this is actually powder coated black and I have used it straight for probably ~10 years up to this point, it's a great gaming case due to the awesome airflow.
I have an older Mountain Mods U2-UFO case for sale with 2 thermochill PA radiators, a PA120.3 and a PA160.
This is the older style PA120.3 with the wider fan spacing. The case will fit both radiators and is a fantastic cooling setup with tons of space in the case.
Local pick up only, I'm based...
I know this was posted recently but mass drop has added another $10 drop if enough people join the group buy.
Only 44 more people needed to hit $339. Will be hard to beat that price on one of these 27s me thinks...
You OCing?
Picked up a 965BE on sale recently from ewiz and it hit 4.0ghz no problem on stock voltage. You could probably hit 4.4-4.5ghz with good cooling and higher voltage.
opened a 3tb and its hard to do without breaking a few tabs, though when i checked the hard drive had its own warranty on the seagate site (i.e. even bare it still had a warranty). I put another drive in the enclosure and works with that as well (though it doesnt power down properly)
the thing is since channel changing is slow, you will generally want to use the guide to change channels. The guide is much nicer / more responsive than the typical cableco dvr so this isn't so bad.
Because even if you have not run into an issue yet, you will eventually. Look at what MS specs the Xbox as being capable of streaming. I have no issue with MS but the XBOX as a media streamer is a turd.
Xbox 360 console support for AVI
File extensions: .avi, .divx
Containers: AVI
Video profiles: MPEG-4 Part 2 (Simple Profile and Advanced Simple Profile)
Video bit rate: 5 Mbps with resolutions of 1280 × 720 at 30 fps. See the question about max bit rate, resolution, and frames per second...
Pick up a denon 1712 while you still may be able to find one.
If you cant find one see if you can get the 1713. Reason i mention these is this is the cheapest receiver that has Audyssey MultEQ XT which is a great speaker correction technology.
For a sub in that price range get the bic PL 200.
All the reports i have seen have indicated 7200rpm drives and that's what was in mine. Not sure if all of the bare drives have warranties, i believe i have seen conflicting reports on this but not sure if it was all the same model external they were talking about. The warranty on my bare drive...
If this guy is right, then i agree with him that storage spaces isn't so great:

Theoretically you can take it out and not break the enclosure as i've seen a vid of it, though i did break ~3 tabs on my first go round.
That said the go flex desk drives have a 7200rpm drive and when i checked the serial on seagates website the bare drive also carried a warranty...

All of those pioneers are a great buy.
If you can get find a decent deal on the avr 1712 i would recommend stepping up to that for the MultEQ XT
the 360 is very limited in what it can playback and at what bitrate:

do you know which generation it is?
If its any of the normal white case xbox's and not the slim then these can be "modded" to fit into the xbox.
