dude, i dont want to see you get screwed. why dont you buy the same exact card from an "official retailer" use that invoice, send in the card, and sell the new one on the forums and cut your losses. Your not totally screwed you know. Just use your brain. And this isnt the least bit dishonest IMO...

How about a 250GB Hard drive, open box, retail, OEM, Refurb, return -- whatever, just has to work. Brand like seagate, maxtor, or hitachi, for $55. I would buy 3 of them... heres to hoping. (i need them for PS2s :) my beloved western digitals do not fit)

maybe the heatsink came loose. Redo the TIM on it as well. Make sure the screws are fairly tight. I dont see how a working card would just start to artifact. Try new drivers and also try a different system.
