Does your 204 give a popping sound when during power off or on? You mentioned using your "hacked USB cable to supply 5V and GND from a dedicated adapter" with your 204. Does the hacked USB cable keep your 204 powered all the time even if it is not receiving signal from the PC?
It's my HSU VTF3mk2 that is the issue with the 2i4. I hear the pops on my monitors when the 2i4 is powered on/off but if the subwoofer is on or in standby, it will make a very loud pop. The sub doesn't have the issue when connected to home receivers and my Topping VX1.
Awesome info here guys! I am considering the Fulla 2 to replace a Focusrite 2i4 that I currently use to connect a Phillips 9500 headphones, powered monitors, and to the L/R low level inputs of a subwoofer.
One issue that I get with the Focusrite 2i4 1st gen is a popping sound it makes when it...
I think I have the same RAM as you except that I have the 2x4GB kit. After upgrading my AB350M Pro4 to BIOS 2.50, my Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz (CMK8GX4M2B3000C15) can now run with its XMP Profile of 15-17-17-35 @ 2933. You can try reloading the defaults and try the settings...

CPU temp are the same in HWINFO and Ryzen Master. Motherboard VRM temperature is not present in Ryzen Master. Sorry for hijacking this thread.
Flogger23m, how is your build going?
I just built a Ryzen 1700 with the ASRock AB350M Pro 4 mATX and it is working ok. My Ryzen 1700 can easily reach 3800 Mhz with stock voltage but I use a higher 1.3v to be safe. 1.37v is stable up to 3950 Mhz. I can't get 4GHz even with increased voltage.
Can anyone provide their B350 VRM temps...
I am still in DDR3 land with an i7 2600K and an i7 3700 and have multiple 32GB servers and 16GB gaming machine. With DDR4 prices being high now, I might wait a bit.
Those prices looks great. The 1700 is enough for me. I have been using i5 2400 and an i5 4570 on my lab servers and plan to go with a Ryzen 8C/16T as an upgrade path for my ESXi and KVM servers. Onboard NICs might not be supported but I have Intel PCIe supported NICs to use.
I use OpenVPN on the pfsense router to connect to my home. Also have PIA. For backing up and syncing data of my servers in different locations, I use syncthing.
I just received the keyboard and I got reds. I will have to call them back to send a brown. Did anyone open theirs? I might like the reds if I try it but the browns rarely go on sale.
When did you order yours? Mine is stuck in processing :(
Update: I checked my junked email and Corsair emailed me about the mix up and sent me a K70 with MX Red instead of Browns. It's good of them to include a discount code with the email. Will have to call them when it gets here.
