Thx for the honest update.
I remember asking Nexenta if clustering was as easy to setup as it is with Microsoft Failover clustering, they said yes....most everyone else says otherwise
stevebaynet, what's been happenin'? hope all is well (aside from being busy at work)
How is the Nexenta project coming along?
Any progress with clustering?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder (or something like that)
I've had 2x Dell 3007 for almost 4 yrs, I upgraded from 2407FP. Best monitors I've ever owned
To each his/her own.
If you're happy with your sub $400 Korean monitor, more power to you.
I love my Dells & nobody can change...
Does it even make sense to "OP" (aka Short Stroke) the SSDs used for ZIL & L2ARC?

Noob ZFS question (I was playing around in NMV)
let's say you have 1 head + 2 JBODs
JBOD1: 8 x 1TB SAS 2.5"
JBOD2: 8 x 2TB SAS 3.5"
Since we have 2 different types of drives, I assume (best practice) they should not be in the same volume?
With my "noob" thinking, I convinced myself that you...
How many images did you end up uploading? I assume just the ..2602yrs.jpg
You just used gimp to crop & add the labels?
How many files did you have to create & upload? 2. The empty one + the image file
In Nexenta, how do you upload a file? (sorry, I'm a Windows guy)
You should definitely do that blog.
Like you mentioned earlier, lack of easily accessible info really "hurts" projects like the Nexenta's etc, especially those that lack the big marketing $$$ (like the big iron companies)
stevebaynet,
I just wanted to say thx for posting/sharing this thread.
I re-read the whole thing again
I hope I haven't cluttered this thread with some of my sideways questions & pics
stevebaynet,
Your ZIL and L2ARC; are they attached to motherboard SAS controller + installed in the head unit or attached to 9205 + installed in the JBOD?
