This "NEWS" shouldn't surprise anyone, nor is it important publishers/developers WILL continue these business practices so just get used to it. The only AAA games i can think of that came out this year on PC that had a relatively smooth launch is GTA5 and Witcher 3.

What surprises me about this whole bad launch fiasco is that *people find it shocking a game launches on PC in a bad state*. Game developers taking a bit of time to release a properly working product is always a good thing. But regardless I will not buy the game on launch I always to wait a few weeks to see what my *trusted* PC game reviewers have to say about it and other user experiences as well.

Witcher 3 delayed to polish and properly bug test the game equals win for developer, publisher and consumers.

Once again thanks for all your advice. I really do appreciate it. I personally like to play with MAX settings when i can. I've narrowed my resolution choice to 2560 x 1080 for monitor 29" and above so will wait to see what Monitor & GPU released by spring/summer next year to make my purchase.

I was planning on getting a new monitor from Black Friday deals, but after reading this article and a few others I decided to wait for these FreeSync monitors to hit the market. Hopefully they'll be significantly cheaper than G-Sync monitors.

How much are you willing to spend OP? What's the MAX your budget will allow? Also would you rather stick with Nvidia or are you willing to give AMD try? What are the specs for your system?

Haven't we learned by now that this pre-order BS is detrimental to the gamer. We get screwed time and time again from the practice and the only way to stop it is to simply not pre-order anything. If you did already do it, well it's the your hard earned money so spend it however you see fit.
