Hi all i'm planning to get Fallout 4 sometime in future (PC version), so I'd like to ask does anyone know when (or your best guess) Bethesda might release a nice big patch to address the first wave of reported bugs/glitches (I really wanna tear into the game so bad)? I just got Witcher 3 when it...
Is it just me or does it looks like Call of Duty? Not a bad thing mind you, just looks like CoD:AW and the upcoming CoD:BO3. Well I won't know till I play so will wait until then to see what gameplay is like.
This new DOOM is IMO a boring looking FPS the trailer and gameplay shown just didn't impress me, so i've already lowered my excitement level to " I'll get it when the game goes on steam sale ". Until then https://youtu.be/oSzYliSASKc will give me my DOOM crack fix.
How WB will "smooth things over with the PC community?" You get to buy the (hopefully working) game full price, with the season pass full price, with microtransactions/DLC full price, and you'll get a pink cape free of charge (which you can only get buy pre-ordering all of the above) for your...
This "NEWS" shouldn't surprise anyone, nor is it important publishers/developers WILL continue these business practices so just get used to it. The only AAA games i can think of that came out this year on PC that had a relatively smooth launch is GTA5 and Witcher 3.
What surprises me about this whole bad launch fiasco is that *people find it shocking a game launches on PC in a bad state*. I've personally set my expectations low for PC ports, I just tell myself that it will be broken, missing features or just downright unplayable at launch wait at least 2 to...
Hello all
I purchased the Acer XB270HU today. When it arrives are there any tests I can do to make sure i have no dead pixels or other problems with it. This will be my very first gaming monitor purchase so any advice from the pros will be most appreciated.
I've had these in my system since Feburary 2013 and have been rock solid and stable XMP works at advertised speeds on my MB. I have run them with memtest for 8hrs straight before taking them out to make sure there are zero errors which there are none. I'll sell them for $45, free next day...

Wholeheartedly agree, but will game devs take the time to bother with it is a better question? Only games of the top of my head I can think of that uses PhysX is the Batman Arkham series, Planetside 2 (currently disabled), Borderlands series & Alice: Madness Returns. Personally I do hope PhysX...
I don't want to doubt Mike Glosecki sincerity, but to me that whole statement looks like some sort of ploy to get PC gamers to pre-order the Battlefield: Hardline.
That is quite an impressive increase in performance. How many games in development right now are going to use DX12 or can the games that are on the market now be updated to take advantage of DX12?
If you personally feel it's worth it to pre-order a game then you go right ahead it's your cash so spend it how you see fit. Only game I plan to pre-order in future is Star Citizen but gonna wait until a proper Beta is released, I tried the Arena Commander module on a friend's PC when it came...
Thanks for responding, this is the PSU that i have now. I assume this isn't strong enough to power the 390x when it comes out but could it power a 290x. ( I don't overclock video cards only CPU)

I'm looking to upgrade my SLI setup to a single powerful card. I skipped the nvidia 900 series to wait for AMD's offering, I do hope their new cards are more energy efficient. I might be tempted to purchase a 290x seeing the price drop on newegg, but from what i've read those cards use a lot of...
Game developers taking a bit of time to release a properly working product is always a good thing. But regardless I will not buy the game on launch I always to wait a few weeks to see what my *trusted* PC game reviewers have to say about it and other user experiences as well.
Once again thanks for all your advice. I really do appreciate it. I personally like to play with MAX settings when i can. I've narrowed my resolution choice to 2560 x 1080 for monitor 29" and above so will wait to see what Monitor & GPU released by spring/summer next year to make my purchase.
Thanks for the advice i decided to wait for new monitors next year with g-sync and free-sync to be released, as long as my current PSU is able to handle the newer GPU I'll be happy.
Hello all I am looking to upgrade my video card and need some advice. This is the PSU I have in my system now http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182071. I'd like to know which graphics card that's out now works well with my PSU. I've been looking at the R9 290 and the GTX...
I was planning on getting a new monitor from Black Friday deals, but after reading this article and a few others I decided to wait for these FreeSync monitors to hit the market. Hopefully they'll be significantly cheaper than G-Sync monitors.
How much are you willing to spend OP? What's the MAX your budget will allow? Also would you rather stick with Nvidia or are you willing to give AMD try? What are the specs for your system?
Haven't we learned by now that this pre-order BS is detrimental to the gamer. We get screwed time and time again from the practice and the only way to stop it is to simply not pre-order anything. If you did already do it, well it's the your hard earned money so spend it however you see fit.
