the aged diamondplate looks alot better. I saw the shine on it in the pictures before the paint and it seemed to ruin the mod. Now it looks pretty hot with the bullet holes looking real and the rust at the screws. Very nice job.
hope you have a doorway beg enough to fit that through unless you plan to de-assemble when you take it into your house? looks quite nice so far. Can you maybe draw up a view to show how it will look from the front. I'd like to see if you plan to have any cubbies on the desk or whatever you would...
ahh looking better and better with each update. ive been looking at the wavemaster for a while now and i have to ask- is it worth the money? is it heavy? and how is the build quality..i assume its great being a cm and it looks nice and thick/sturdy. i love what your doing with the orange and the...
Thats the steps i use to reset but it does not work. Mine looks like this --> http://img34.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ipod1ge.jpg only its not video/color. 20gb and i got it around xmas of 04. relentless i hit it a few times after reading it in another thread. i almost popped the front off but...
Earlier today i turn on my ipod, select a song, and hit play. the minute i hit play it freezes up. wtf? ok so this has happened before. all i have to do is reset it. Wrong! none of the buttons work nothing in the manual works. the things stuck on and the backlight it stuck on. Its one of the...
So i have had my ipod since last christmas (xmas of 04) and even though i have kept a case on it, there are alot of tiny scratches as well as a few bigger ones. well its getting old seeing what is supposed to be nice clean smooth and simple all scratched up. i wondered if there was anyway to get...
i actually like the deeper red on the hdd cage. Normally i wouldnt but this makes it unique and since your project is based on dragons thats kinda like the inside of a dragon..i guess :o you get the point lol. nice so far. its a shame you didnt cut off the grills in the back before you painted...

Mkkkk here we go. resized them for you. now they are at 1024x768 except for the first one which is at like 5xx by 768
whole thing
Clutter of cables
Front panel

hdd through floppy bay
BTW:: Move one of your sticks of ram over into the other slot so...
So you plan to make the case somewhat of a tribute to ground zero? or is that just the name. I had always wanted to do a mod for 9/11 just never had the money... my dad said he might sponsor me soon because we are both firefighters and both lost some good friends up in new york. So if you plan...
well its only a 9800pro...but i will keep that in mind. thanks. i think they have a roll of 18 awg on sale at home depot maybe i'll pick that up. gotta practice soldering first
Well im kinda addicted to wire management and there are a fwe places where i cant quite hide a wire because the cables arent long enough to hide. I want to lengthen a few cables and wanted to know if its possible. do i just take the pins off solder the existing wire to the new strand, heatshrink...
Get rid of the msi pci usb bracket thing...it just adds two extra, and thick, wires that you probably dont need. (if you use it keep it in..just do something with the excess cables..)
Make it so all of the front connections (power button led connections usb connections etc) are all hidden...
Red-Back USB: If You really need it then route the wires like my red line. take it in 90 degree angles down the back of the case then across the floor and plug it in.
Teal- Front USB: Take these and run them against the lip that the bottom of the case and the side panel lip makes then to the...
grind and sand down the holes you cut for the fans. i noticed you used pci slot covers to get your hdd off the case floor LOL ghetto but it works. but with the brackets make the part that is on the floor is pointing inside the case.
Mafia i dont know where to start...if i were you i would start by unplugging everything and start the wiring over....and id get a can of dustblaster
can you take a pic of everything (from the bottom where the psu is all the way to the top) and make it bigger then the now pic you have. and make sure its from the side not a 3/4 view. that would make it a little easier to help you out.
wow....lol what case is that?
1)Try runing the atx connector back under the psu and against the wall of the case then plug it in.
2)Flip the HDD around and run the plugs back behind the motherboard tray
3) Try to at least zip tie those molex connectors if you cant hide them.
And...
well if you plan to run it around so you dont see it then get the longest length. Otherwise just measure from your connector to your hdd and see how long its gonna have to be.
umm......i can spend anywhere from 5 minutes to 3 hours on wire management...the time it takes u to wire doesn't make good wiring. Quality makes good wiring -_^ its a shame this guy posts asking for help and never responds.. :o
SO, you doing this thing with AC Ryan. Do you design and show them how you made things and they go on to make a bunch and make money off your ideas and you get a cut? or do they just support you? or do you do custom designs each time and sell big under AC Ryans name? Btw kickass res and im...
If you can get us some pics ill be happy to give you some ideas and im sure g33z will. theres alot of people who are willing to help with wire management here just get some pics for us :)
Please tell me you didnt use a peice of wire as a tie for the cables as they come out of the psu -_- Also i agree with g33z. that "Loom" makes it look worse. make it as tight as possible and use straight lines that flow with the lines of the case. Also g33zy i think those wires that...
I see. Just remembered that the p180 was a b1tch to wire. well you dont have to run the usb connectors under the mobo. as long as they are all tied down, whats the word im looking for, uniform? make them all straight running in straight lines that are as tucked in towards the mobo and the floor...
