How do you have a 1080i dlp TV? As I understand it DLP is a fixed pixel display meaning that it would likely be 720p. And just has the ability to display 1080i but in reality everything is scaled to 720.

Im pretty sure the HD standards are all wide screen. You may be able to find a monitor with HD equivalent resolutions but thats probably the closest.

Really you could get away with playing halo two withough beating the original. But definantly you should play halo 2 it is a good game.

Halo 3 doesnt split vertically it only splits horizontally. There is a mention of this on the FAQ. You can't change it.
