Same problems here too, I picked up the board on friday. Spent most of the weekend working on it. Got about the same results as you. Same processor max cpu speed 2.73 GHZ RAM speed bit less. FSB seems to hit a wall then no POST. 601 is the latest bios I could find came out 7/11 or abouts...

Wow, thanks for all the info, I knew I wasn't crazy. My cards did exactly what you described. Both BFG I did RMA them but I wonder if crossfire might be the way to go until this issue is worked out. ..performance seems pretty similar.

Thanks, I not an expert with this board by far so anyone correct me. DFI board uses a Mem Divider. I believe the settings were: 5/6 Mem Divider HTT 335 FSB 279 CPU 3015MHZ Works out to be almost 11:1, still pretty new to this board might be some other settings with it that I am missing.

A Couple of new scores. Finally broke 130k in AQ3, but it took a lot longer than expected. The 7800GTXs prolly would of done it with better memory but the opportunity to upgrade to 7900GTXs was to hard to resist. Not much of an improvement in AQ3 but I am still trying to get it dailed in...

I have 2 BFG 7900 GTXs, purchased about 5 days ago. Both have similar problems. Ran strong out of the box. 3rd day, system seems stable, start doing some benching SM3.0 marks go to hell in 3DMark2006. Seems to either locked completely or for about 10 secs during Deep freeze. 3dM2003, 2005...

Wow, pics of all that hardware gave me wood. Looks like it's been pretty active here lately woot woot. Make's me want to start benchmarking again. Unfortunately no new toys to help out with the scores. But I am finally thinking about removing the IHS off Opty 165, that just might push AQ3...

Also the MTTF of a 1000 hours, not something I want to replace every couple of months.

Very Similair to JD's scores, but my CPU is running 250-300Mhz Higher. Crossfire looks pretty strong. Nice.

JD, I Had same problem with 3dMark 2001 scores this weekend too. Couldn't submit any scores, still can't this morning. All the old scores are still there but I get an error when trying to submit new scores. Sweet run too, 36,144 :)

Seems like I have come across somewhere the nf4 ports were locked. Well from personal experience I have been running RAID 0 (4) WD SATA I drives without a problem for about 2 months. Current setting 250x11. I have also benched the hell out of it running up to a 290 FSB without a hiccup...
