    Intel Design flaw with SB Chipsets

    I am out of town right now and kind of busy but when I get home I will track down that info. Leave it to me to be the first person to get something and it ends up with a massive design flaw and a recall lol.

    Intel Design flaw with SB Chipsets

    I picked up an awesome Lenovo sb laptop with a great deal back in Jan. I love the laptop and right now I think I am going to hold onto it for a while. The chances of it being affected are low and I need it right now while traveling for work. If things slow down in a few months for me and they...

    Old HDD -> New Mobo

    As far as transplanting your HD over to your new motherboard yes it is possible and I did it one week ago today in fact and I have been running my P5Q-Pro with no problems whatsoever. What you need to do is go into your device manager on your current rig and select the default IDE controllers...

    The Official P45 Asus P5Q Motherboard Thread

    I just finished installing the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro and I am running my e8400 at 4ghz 445x9, vcore 1.36 in CPU-Z with 1.3875 selected in the latest P5Q-Pro bios. To quickly see how much better this would dissipate heat over the stock Intel HSF I had Core Damage running for 10 minutes and...

    The Official P45 Asus P5Q Motherboard Thread

    Well after some tweaking over the past few days I am running 7 hours prime stable at 4004.9 ghz with my e8400 on a p5q pro. The ridiculous part of this is that I am doing it with the stock HSF from my old e4300 that is a year and a half old. I idle at 31 and stress at 65 with it maxing to 75...

    The Official P45 Asus P5Q Motherboard Thread

    Well I just finished upgrading to an e8400 and a P5Q Pro. Right now I am running at stable at 3.6ghz at around 28C idle from Real Temp. I ran Orthos overnight and the highest temp was 60. CURRENT state of Asus Motherboards?

    Yeah I am loving my new 4850. But to get back on topic I built a box using a P4C-800 E I believe back when overclocking the 2.4c p4's was the rage and pushed that thing to the limit with no problems. Now I am running an Asrock (Asus budget line) 4CoreDual-VSTA with an e4300 at 2.4ghz for a year...

    Best gaming headset

    Thats funny that your logitech webcam mike works very well. Everyone remmember the cheap logitech "Internet Chat Headset" that came with a pre ordered version of UT2004? That mike to this day is one of the clearest sounding ones out there. Pretty crazy for a 10 dollar headset.

    Can I hot swap my raptor from a P4C800E to Asrock 4CoreDual-VSTA

    I am thinking of upgrading to the Asrock 4CoreDual-VSTA from an Asus P4C800-E to throw an E6420 in there to replace my overclocked P4 2.4C at 3.2. I recently bought a Sapphire x1950 pro agp which is very cpu limited on the p4 and think the E6420 would give it plenty of cpu power to work with...
