Was wondering if someone had put the NV Silencer 5 rev3 on the BFG 7800GTXOC. Reading the instructions it kinda concerned me talking about the power hookup and other could be problems. Would appreciate any feedback from someone who tried it on this card. ;)

Well actually is less than that. I'm getting a 7800gtx with a combo cpu. Makes it like $229 free shipping. But thats not the point, The point is what will these chips do? Got some good ram and DFI mobo. Just want to get a good chip. I used Newegg so I could get one from the same batch...

Has anyone purchased one of these retail chips from Newegg in the last couple days? Was wondering what kind of OC you got with it. I see the price dropped. Gonna put it in a DFI Ultra D mobo. Any feedback would be nice. Like to see what I'm getting before I buy a $200+ chip.

I have a 9800 pro too, everything was ok till I got a Dell 2005fpw. Running 1680x1050 the 9800 pro won't cut it anymore. I can play CS source at that resolution with all graphic options on low and get about 71fps. But if I put in on high it drops to 50's and is choppy. So I also will be in...

Thats the same 2 monitors I had it narrowed down to. I chose the 2005 just for the wide format. I think its the future of gaming. Just look at the HDTV. Don't think you could go wrong with either though.

My Sony Trinitron 19inch CRT died last week and started researching a new monitor. Come to find out Sony doesn't even make CRT's anymore. Go to the local Bestbuy or Circuit City and you'll find they only carry like one 19 in CRT anymore. This ought to tell you something.

Hope this post is in the right forum but anyway. I have the bargain $396 Dell 2005FPW on the way and besides Half Life 2 what other games even support the widescreen format? I've heard Far Cry and Doom 3 just stretch the screen.

When did you order yours..I ordered mine Sunday morning...You have to be there to sign for it in person. UPS can't leave a Dell pkg without a signature.

I work for UPS and I see somethings come from Tennessee and Arkansas. But a friend who lives in Texas got one last week and his came from Texas like you said.

I ordered yesterday using the 35% off and a stackable $90 off $750 purchase. Since the list price of 2005fpw was $749 had to add a Dell microphone for $10 to put me over the $750 price range. Total of 2005FPW and new mic was $407 shipped no tax... ;) When do you think I will get this...
