I ditch the soundcard for a SB X-fi (unless you're not going to use good speakers or headphones...)
Why not go for a sata hd. They're about the same price nowadays.
Anyone had good experiences making the Thermaltake Tsunami a bit quiter (besides water cooling)? It could be worse...but....
I've replaced the front and rear fans with Antec 120's that are pretty quiet. The psu makes no noise. Are there effective ways to dampen the case itself?

It was a 530...this Amd seems alot faster...especially gaming...
So just adjust the ram in bios? Will it really make much of a difference? Having the ram underclocking itself or running at what it "should"?

I just installed a Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 with an Amd 3500+
For what ever reason it's reading my 4 ram sticks (2x 512 mb Corsair, 2x 512mb Kingston) as 333 instead of 400.
Both Corsair's are on the same channel, as are the Kingston's.....

I love mine. Replace the fans with antec...alot quieter. Just gotta get creative with the cable management. You can fit alot of cables behind the drive racks. Make a small notch on the opposite side of the drive rack to run cables in (couldn't find a cleaner way to run my burner and audigy...
You're cathodes are too bright. I have the same psu, (3) sunbeam uv cathodes, and they used to glow real bright (till i decided to hide all my wiring) Those blue cathodes are bright as hell.
2 cathodes are in the bottom nearest window, other is hidden behind cross bar (same case) Try this...
