Thanks, guys!
Im crunching under name "[xs]anubis", EXT64 im almost matching you in ppd ;)
(thats with you running in power saving and me in b*lls-to-the-walls mode)
Question - what could be the reason, if i have tpc installed, voltages changed, everything tpc can say reflects to them being in place - but no drop in power usage from the wall with tpc active or not.
Something i have to activate/disable in BIOS for it to work?
H8QME-2+ with 4x8435 and 8x4GB...
Yes. It does.
What i meant was - with numa OFF, what will numastat say for
local_node 266457007 215027747
other_node 36019057 97975207
If the BIOS values are reversed and OFF=ON this would be the fastest indication + numerical proof for it. If im not...
An idea - why not use numactl/numastat to show data/check if NUMA is working as expected?
indrek@2419x2:~$ numastat
node0 node1
numa_hit 266457046 215030938
numa_miss 36019018 97972016
numa_foreign...
True, but the change to be done in windows (using phenommsrtweaker) is trivial - thus basically getting EE for a lot less :) I built two of these systems and the first CPUs i was able to reduce from 1,275v to 0,985v. I dont think EEs are worth the money - if you get a really good deal then...
no, ordinary 2419 chips, the ones floating around ebay for $10-20.

Not bad, considering its pulling less than 150w at full load (9% load on 1500va UPS).
I can input on AMD 2419's, had one setup running with them for couple days (had to shut down my hosts for personal reasons)

These 2419s do pop up on ebay from time to time and for $1 that i scored them they're unmatched...
its funny..how a post in H`phorums creates/begins a life of its own... , but as the educated minds of the world say... no new knowledge is wasted ...
sorry to bring you the bad news...but metric system is good :) and it has been adapted around the world (and its not that new of a invention...try googlein it..dont remember the date it was first used...but its kinda more logical) .... just my 0.02$
