Personally, I would stick with the 2500k. You should take the $100 savings and put that towards an SSD drive. Prices on the 128gb Plextor M3 and Crucial m4 have been trending downwards the past few weeks.

Depends on how cheap you can acquire the second 6950. If both of those cards are reference based you could unlock the shaders, overclock, and be on your way relatively cheap.

You should definitely get them before they sell out. I ordered them a week ago when I was upgrading to an i5 2500k and these sticks are just amazing. You can see what I'm running them at down below. 1.5volts btw.
