Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Yeah, muscle memory needs an anchor point. Those keypads were too small to provide one. They were somewhat useful for the CAD set as it left more room for the digitizer.
Z's not old or he'd remember that WASD was the default because the 5150 didn't have an island of arrow keys and the numeric keypad used different scan codes. It's just you whippersnappers that need that kind of crutch!;)
I don't know if it was the cause of your problem but there is a known bug with fullscreen v-sync with Compiz enabled that causes stuttering that's annoying as hell when watching videos.
I was working a weekend rollout of an entire new office building of PCs when someone noticed all the brand-new power bars indicating a fault, on every g-d floor (6 stories). They all had a hot ground thanks to a lazy journeyman and his idiot apprentice. Eight guys and a camel server on OT for...
In what universe has anyone on the 401 driven 100? You go 120 on average or get slammed from behind. Hell, the OPP roll at 130 because there's too much distance to cover to waste that much time.
Depends on which area of the eye, and more.

Multiple sensors doesn't necessarily equate to improved accuracy or reliability. You've got to account for variances in the sensor's capability and then try and decide which, if any, are reporting correctly and what to do about it. That sort of complexity means reduced response time and...
I'm unfamiliar with how they marketed the plane. Considering that airlines will try and spin the wings falling off as pilot error it doesn't surprise me that the unions' would be redirecting blame.
Our mutual friend is retired. The AC pilot is still active. FWIW, the expense of the training was noted. The duration also suggests a slow rotation through the ranks, but he made no comment on that.
Yes, this was 9 weeks simulation training on the Max to cover the differences relative to the original. He knew MCAS existed and how to deal with it. He flies for Air Canada.
My source is an actual pilot; our mutual friend is a retired pilot whose trip to Florida's itinerary got shat upon. All involved are not thrilled with the half-assed journalism surrounding this. The only other information I was able to glean was:
- Moving the engines forward on the fuselage...
That's not true either; there are two possible steps: hit the big red button that tells the computer to stop it and a guarded circuit breaker that kills the power if the button didn't work. Flip the guard, stab the button and get back to work.

Go Gentoo! You can customize as much as you like (or not) and either use the package manager or not, or even half-way (fetch the package, but compile it manually, and then use the manager to install. Out of tree compilations can be injected so dependencies are still met. The forums are pretty...
Yeah, mastering is what's important and some companies don't give a shit. I think the biggest shit-show was Buffy; It's either cropped at damn near 100% (yay nosehairs!) or so wide you can see the sound guy trying to hide behind the couch. Fucking infuriating.
Me too, except I went Note 8 (just due to price). The power saving is definitely more aggressive as I can go the whole day with regular use. Any gaming, or GPS, still drains the battery. I do wish the phone was thicker like the CAT phone, not this one, so I could go days without being near a...
As much as I love the thought of squinting less when using my phone that battery is only marginally larger than the Note 9 with twice the screens to light up. The charger better fold too, you'll be needing it!
The prequels did a very good job of demonstrating just how important Marcia Lucas was to the OT. It's also worth noting that the younger kids enjoyed the prequels more then the cranky older fans (such as myself), which was the point. I just wish someone competent would do a sequel to Willow!
Phoronix showed it 12s slower per frame in Blender and they did a lot of bouncing around from driver to driver. I was ready to pull the trigger until I saw that as it implies we'll need some Fine Wine to get parity. Is GCN capable of using that 16GB or will the scenes complex enough to need it...
Presumably just by loading the battery as that would produce an even heat across all cells using its own chemistry. You can achieve the same thing on a starter battery by running the headlights for a few minutes first.
A block heater is a resistance-coil that you put in a receptacle on the vehicle, looks like the coffee cup heaters that used to be popular. You would not be able to attach it to the outside of the battery, nor would it have much effect. Heating a battery in general, however, can cause...
Yes, but it's a great example of a game that had legs. First the original, then the mission packs, then the re-release on CD. Someone should mention to EA that good games not only sell well but do so multiple times, maybe it'd help them!
True, there's some cheap-bastardness in the manufacturing that plays into it. :D However, I rarely see home owners using 12ga extension cords for their driveway needs, so I'm willing to bet their cars are getting choked. At least a block heater is a low-draw.
I'd say go with Gentoo. It's still compiled from source, but automated, so you don't have to get your hands dirty until you want to. This makes updating a lot less aggravating as the Portage system will take care of the dependencies for you.
The importance of this problem cannot be understated. I had my 'Dilbert' moment when I interviewed for a job that wanted five years of Java... in '97. The number of companies that try to order up employees like pizza are simply astounding. At the company I work for now, technical...
It was the maximum number of monitors. We could have 4 on Linux but only 3 on Windows. They restricted the Linux driver to 3 from then on for "feature parity."
