Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Aaight, thanks everyone!
I got the game. Will try it hopefully soon. I might report back here if I need some advice or if I need to know about some good addons/scripts.
Cheers!
It's because when it comes to FPS or 3rd person games, I am retarded with a controller.
A controller to me is best suited for racing games, fighting games, and sports games.
Everything else, I need M+K or I just suck.
I remember playing the uncharted series on PS3 and I was having a hard...
I tried DS for like 15 mins and just couldn't get past the horrible controls. I do not want to use a controller, and tried a few K+M mods but it seemed like a hassle and only somewhat of a workaround at best.
Can someone tell me if the K+M controls are any better in DS2?
thanks!
3 wasn't that bad IMO, and I thought it had the best feel in terms of overall combat to date.
The story had all the elements to make it interesting and involving, but it was just meh. Dude was rather dull, the best part was playing his father in the beginning IMO.
I only played like 30 mins of 4...
Nice, let me look into that.
Also, I found a Bitfenix Ghost for $69. Seems like a good case, and the emphasis on quietness will please my wife since the comp will be in our bedroom....
I have looked into most cases, but it still very hard to decide. They all have pros and cons, and the ones that only have pros are outside my price range.
Source 210 elite is on my radar though...
So I think this is what I'm gonna go with:
- i5 4430 $199
- Asus z87A $150
- Still looking for a decent mid-tower for around $60 or so.
That is somewhat within my budget and should hold for a few years...
Anyone think any of these items is a bad buy?
So I came up with a new set up, Intel instead of AMD, and a mid tower instead of a full tower.
I will post the links when I have some time after work.
Cheers!
I am really looking for a full size tower, as I really want a roomy, clean tower with good cable management. I've also been struggling with dust a lot, so I've been looking at cases with replaceable filters and stuff,
From what I could see online, benchmarks show only a slight increase in...
I was under the impression that running 3 HDDs would be better on a 700W. However, if you think a 500 will suffice, then I'm ok with it.
Yeah my budget is more than $400 now, I really didn't want top of the line stuff, but I want it to last me a while. So I'm looking more at $700-800 now...
So I looked up some items that seemed appropriate, and this is what I came up with. These are from Newegg.ca as I live in Canada and can't get US prices :(
Thermaltake Chaser Series Chaser MK-I (VN300M1W2N) Black SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case $149.99...
It is time for me to upgrade my computer (see sig) as it is starting to cause problems.
I am a casual gamer, and I don't need to turn everything on Ultra when I play. High or even mid is fine by me.
I am looking to get a new case (full size, need room for proper cable management, and it is...
What really kills it for me is all the follow/eaves drop missions.
How annoying and boring is that??
The combat is also getting old and repetitive. Not challenging nor fun really...
So I finished Origins last night, and I honestly don’t get all the hate the game got.
The only negative thing I can think of is the lack of innovation from previous entries, but that’s about it.
The story is great, the combat mechanic is just the same, the ambiance is great, the...
Agreed, I picked it up for like $3 I think, and I had a bunch of fun.
Good FPS experience, wild west setting was fun, story was fun, good stuff overall...
It could very well be the last Arkham game made by Rocksteady, but it doesn't mean it will be the last Arkham game (and I'm dead sure that it won't be as long as they make money from it).
The fact that Arkham Knight takes place one year after City doesn't mean there won't be flash-back...
I loved the first 2, and I thought Origins was pretty good too.
I also had avoided the game because of all the bad press, but decided to get it when it was on sale. I did not regret my purchase.
Sure, there wasn’t anything new really, but I like the first 2 games, and this one is more of...
Alright everyone. Thank you all for contributing.
I have decided to get it, as soon as I have completed a couple of games I am playing at the moment (any 2 from Arkham Origins, AC4, Splinter Cell Blacklist and Mass Effect 3).
Prepare to die!!!
That's where I'm coming from. But the game seems to be something truly special, and perhaps it is worth making the effort (hence why I created this thread: I needed some convincing).
I agree! the atmosphere and art design in this game is nothing like I have seen before.
Just watching the intro cinematic made me feel uneasy...big part of why I am so intrigued by this game.
This is quite something...
Same here, I only played a couple of maps for the past two days.
Now, I didn't have much time anyway, and I think the fact that there is limited content at the moment doesn't help.
I will prolly treat it just like COD, couple maps here and there, and log out. I don't see myself playing it for...
I thought I read somewhere that it was initially to come out on PC along with the other platforms, but was delayed to a month after console release.
I'll try to find the article or video that mentioned that.
So I remember hearing all my friends who own a console raving about Demons Souls.
When Dark Souls came out, with stellar reviews and a planned PC port, I thought that I could finally get to play it.
But then I got my second child, and I never got to try it.
With Dark Souls 2 coming out...
That's what I heard too. However, when looking at a game on the site, it specifies whether it is region locked or not.
I don't know if I can trust them lol... hard to find genuine impressions of this site online...
A few people have mentioned this site, and from what I could see every game is basically around 10-25% cheaper (brand new AAA titles) and even more discounted for smaller games or older games.
They provide CD keys for Steam, Origin, Uplay, etc
There has to be some kind of catch, or is this...
I’ve been going back and forth a little on this game.
At first I thought it was pretty cool and fun enough. Then I started to see some of the limitations of the game and how it might not hold my attention for more than 2 weeks after release.
Then I kept on playing and started to...
