I love the C&C franchise! (An no, "Generals" is *NOT* a C&C game! It just has "C&C" tacked on to increase the sales of that product that happened to use an earlier version of the engine that runs another C&C game.)

My avvie is the GDI logo from the original C&C released in 1995, also later called "C&C: Tiberian Dawn."

Generals was indeed basically a money grab by EA, I really wish Westwood was never sold to them.

I still have my entire C&C collection somewhere in a box, collector like. Don't think I ever opened Red Alert 3, but had to have it in my collection.

You still play any of the games? Last I checked TS at least had an enthusiastic, but very 'elitist' these days, community.

I also still have all of my big boxes, but I think I'm missing the RA3 big box and the Renegade big box (did Renegade ever actually come out in a big box?)

I'd like to say that I still play, but not really. When I do play, however, I play C&C with the 1.06 patch from Nyerguds

Playing the original C&C in (almost) 1080p is AMAZING!!! (Except that differentiating between the grenadier and the minigunner is impossible because they're so small :-( )

I really like playing C&C: RA2 too.
