Apevia finally made a pretty good unit.

I’ve had little problems out of this gold Galaxy I’ve reviewed it well…I guess if it’s coming up on trip like two-3years like the deer like apevias do it would of already done it…but it seems like had ample power with the 650watt…nothing that special though just their take on a gold unit..I think it still fails ripple rejection but not bad for the 54 dollars on sale.. it seems to have plenty of power for my vega56 gpu. Now what unit I end up moving on from this one I’m not sure…more coffee and cigarettes lounge tales…I’d be happy to get about 8 years out of a unit before then look at tossing one being way out of spec.

I mean... when you're running at about half its rated wattage, most things will survive that. That tells you nothing about their quality.

My Seasonic-made Coolermaster V1000 cost me $120. It lasted 12 years in my primary system, and the only reason I replaced it was because Seasonic's aggressive OCP simply wasn't compatible with today's high surge power GPUs. I expect to easily get 10+ years out of my CWT-made MSI MPG 1000w power supply, which cost $95 on sale, and the V1000 will continue in lower demand duties in my NAS. I also have a $80 Seasonic M12D 750w that's over 16 years old and still chugging along.

Yeah I don’t run it anywhere close to loads maybe 400-450w out of it all together with my power tripping system the Ryzen 2600x hexcore is power trip at 4200 frequency and yeah the vega56 runs 1500-1600 frequency pretty easily all the 200w on the same single 6+2 splitter plug..and it does just fine..it’s good to run about 50-60% duty cycle..it’s what I notice they last and things like ripple stay pretty good..

But yeah it’s like a better Andyson OEM..I regrounded the plug neutral on it..and could be making noise through the more washers on neutral so I did that different like my old 1000w rosewill glacier I had that tripped the cans and the main step up diode the 5408 diode..

Just the cheap set up stuff they do..I find units like the plugs performance and the input xcouplings..all some more good power and suppression comes from…but as you can see that’s way better than the deer/Solytech units they were making with the Jupiter or beast series..those were deer like and the staple tall cans. Nothing good I think them units a fire hazard..they tripp and emit a puff of smoke blowing the fuses or bad plugs..my Jupiter had tripped from an overspeced extension chord plug..so no use the flex black cable the units come with..there not overrated at all..and something we want see an 1amp or two on inrush current..it’s also how you know your plugs good and the input xboxes…if it don’t pop the in line fuses your good dissipating the inrush…

I know it’s a good gold rated one we can power Tripp with, quality like some OEM Illnois capacitor or Cornell dublier stuff..I didn’t take a closer look at the diodes or big bulk 540-560uf can..but I’m assuming still Phillips or Fairchild quality..all put into a Slotted Sama like case…it’s closer to a center can Delta OEM than it is an Andyson this one.

So yeah cool my machinist b450m will like it it’s designed to run hard and the oversized chokes and maybe an old unit with bad ripple rejection those oversized chokes will take the brunt of it…but that’s stuff that effects overclocks and ram stability too though..my micron e and b die ballstix kit keeps dropping channel b cause it’s not supported and going down to 2666 and procodt resistance set lower still didn’t stabilize it or stop the channel drop out on boot or post..

So I been postponing my Dolgix 1.2v jedec kits that should stop that and not drop a channel in dual rank. I gotta put easier to post..it’s a cheaper board the traces are too cheap and the filtered power just don’t get to that kit right and will drop the channel out like a weak imc.

Idc with the unit though was worth the 54 dollars on sale though and regular a 70 dollar unit..and like I said will let you know if it quits posting but yeah Genius build by hand and power tripping with the hexcore performance and ample 4+2 high low side vrm that can amply run a 100-120w cpu at 100ampers.

You just posted a bunch of nonsense that really did nothing to justify your purchase. You can get far better units for not that mich more money that are also guaranteed to last twice as long. No matter how you try to justify it, it's a poor purchase.
