RX 7000 series security firmware update

I haven’t seen this one circulating so I thought I’d drop it here to spread the word.

TL;DR
RX 7000 series GPU’s need a firmware update, the update is not included in Adrenaline, you need to go to your GPU vendor for the firmware for your model.

Some users report driver issues with unpatched cards in the latest drivers.

Some AMD vendors are giving statements along the lines of “sorry your GPUs warranty is expired” and they don’t have firmware yet available…

AMD has not disclosed what the security issue is that the firmware is needed to fix.

Only one of the 7900XTX models didn't get a update. Unfortunately it is the reference model version I got but since every other one did I'm still hopeful.
