my "cheap" asus prime and tuf boards (b550/b450) had more features and full three point voltage control...

yeah i hope it does have good luck I know what you mean its still an on sale board. No, not all B450's are like that. The ones I owned were pretty full featured. Your's seems really.... cheap.
Good luck though.
You get what you pay for. $70 mainboard vs. $400 (when new) higher end vid card from 2017. Still plenty of good quality computer parts around. They just cost more. That said you can't get too nice on a new DDR4 board these days. Seems like the best you can do is B760 (Intel LGA 1700) or B550 (AMD AM4).its the dims though or a damaged cpu/internal memory controller i just don't think they have the quality or built like my vega56..thats still built like some older really good quality.
thats about the only other thing i want to buy right now the sale bargain on a 100 dollar b550 and the 100doallar ryzen 5 5500 chip. or even cheaper they had some bundles like only 160-170 with the asrock or gigabyte..I bought basically the same thing or idea a 70 dollar board on sale built like still like a 100 dollar board. i'm impressed still hasn't missed a beat but yeah the memory buggy stuff is kinda lame but no complaints on the purchase and update how its doing for first new build in 10 years its running the gpu's good and drives working well with old sata connectors stuff like that...the nvme port dosen't need an intel rst driver or anything like that to display the nvme. so its being cool...its just me though i like how i can get more cheaper parts for a couple 200-300 dollars. You get what you pay for. $70 mainboard vs. $400 (when new) higher end vid card from 2017. I have no problems with it lol don't be hater of good 10-15% sales blowout I been building my builds with the sales blowouts. I came across some cheap memory big deal something else still boots in it and no does not do that and no its not a 50 dollar board its a 100 dollar kit board on sale..and good tech with cmos is easy i put a 4 dollar quality child shield cmos battery in it. it really doesn't matter and will run like a 100 dollar board.stop trying to blow smoke up your own ass, its a cheap chinese board that youre having problems with and is lacking basic function. its a built like a $50 board. it didnt even come with a fucking cmos battery...I'm
Depends....not only that, the x470 is theoretically superior to a b450 board.
Yes, there were some weaker X470 boards with poor VRMs and inadequate VRM cooling. I used to have a B450M Steel Legend, and it handled a Ryzen 2700X quite well, though I didn't have a particularly good cooler. I’ve since upgraded to a more robust B550M Steel Legend paired with a Thermalright PA120 SE, and it now cools a 5600X without any issues.Depends....
I had an MSI B470 Gaming....a very good board but my MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC was a much nicer board, with much better components and superior cooling.
Yes too many it’s a shill board cause of aliexpress and Temu..but it actually is quite well and benching quite, there just that many haters of the low man and china but it came nicely boxed and everything the anti static bag was even of quality…my example the I/o shield didn’t fit the zalman raven though but it’s a cheap diy case some stuff don’t measure up right and just run it without the back brackets that can all come off.Yes, there were some weaker X470 boards with poor VRMs and inadequate VRM cooling. shill
I have problems with E and b die micron ballstix idk that kit isn’t liked about it no it won’t post bank b but it will Bank and xmp works in Bank A…so it don’t entirely work correctly but close enough…of course not lash out or mean anything that way…im just having some long days and been getting over a minor cold…and feel more god fearing and hope you just as well with the mission bible i found at my local thrift…and i hold it close and study my age and take that higher path and road..i think theres evil and more satans minions are amongst us…and I wish you well and the pages I’m here to help too as much as I can…I been building off and on for years…and sounds like my relationship with good lord and building up how spiritual I am.Well, if I decipher correctly, there is no dual bank ram happening on that board?
B450' are a few generations back. Wasn't a B450 introduced in 2018?
I owned a few boards with that chipset and really liked them. In fact, I kinda wish I could get my hands on an itx variant for some spare parts I have in a bin.
As much as I would like to score one, I would only get one that doesn't have missing features on it. I had more than one board that needed some subtle tweaking to get ddr4 ram faster than 3200 to work, in both banks.
For the record sir, I cobbled together all of my PC's and have since the early 90's. So no need for the lashing out.
There is budget hardware and then there is straight junk knockoff stuff.
If it works for you cool, but it doesn't sound like it's all up and running efficiently.
Hard to sift through your posts for an accurate response on what you have going on there.
I probaly should have. But they weren’t really available new the Asrock hdv or ac2.0 was hard to find new was some used examples…and the Asus prime 450m was also hard to find new..so I was just buying something new that was available…yeah it’s a shill board something that was 70 dollars on sale..and something alliexpress still has and they sell it pretty cheap with the sister green two slot machinist board…it’s doing quite well actually been playing eso 5 dollars standard base game with it quite a bit…Maybe you have some crappy Chinese motherboard. It’s better to buy a decent B450—if any are still available—or a B550 from ASRock, MSI, ASUS, or Gigabyte.
I haven’t been stuttering at all it’s very small the difference with my vega56 now I do with the sorry card 2gb r9 270 that card just don’t have the horsepower…it’s very small in games like 1% on the frame minimums it’s barely noticeable with a good card…I have enough headroom with the 2600x at the 4200 frequency and coupled with the vega56…AM4 has been really good about not stuttering, stuttering AMD was am3 socket…now that was bad my 8320 and 6300 both stuttered on my Asrock fatality 970.Good god son..... Wow.......
Also, if you can't get dual channel ram to work correctly, aren't you leaving a lot of performance on the table? 10-25%?
Your 1% will suffer in games, Frame drops and a bit of microstutter up to 30 to 40%?
I don’t use enough or get on that much to matter…well I was feeling nauseous all day yesterday now today I’ve felt better and been able to enjoy some coffee..hope your doing well..I find there’s Thomas Nelson has helped me and maybe the Good Lord looking out out so cheers..maybe the Thomas Nelson can help youGood god son..... Wow.......
