For anyone using lossless frame gen on Linux. If your still using the LSFG-VK project or other solutions.
This one is pretty solid. Pretty much enables most of the lossless features. Including fractional and adaptive frame gen, multi gpu support.

If your on a Arch distro. Their git has compiled tar.zst packages, or you can install by hand if would rather.

I'll definitely take a look into this since I didn't buy the app on Steam for LSFG-VK.

Found it in AUR

aur/mako-render 4.0.0-3 [+0 ~0.00]
Next-generation, Vulkan-powered graphics layer for Linux gaming
aur/lib32-mako-render 4.0.0-3 [+0 ~0.00]
Next-generation, Vulkan-powered graphics layer for Linux gaming (32-bit)

Think that is actually a different package. (Sorry scratch that, your right that is the right project... old version though)
MAKO GIT does have a pre compiled arch package though so you don't have to do a full manual install. Manually updating it might be best right now anyway. I find every version change of these experimental things removes game profiles and such. Better to prepare then get pushed and update you didn't expect. :)

Just download the tar.zst switch to where you downloaded it and install it with pacman.
pacman -U ./mako-renderer-bin-4.5.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

Oh, quite out of date... I'll see which direction proves best with the packages or modifying the PKGBUILDs.

Only downside to just doing in manual is no updates. But if you have to edit the pkgbuild, your basically manually updating past that anyway.

Updating the PKGBUILD ended in failure with compilation tests. Since I'm no programmer, I'll just use the precompiled bin packages.

I wonder if I can figure out how to make a precompiled bin PKGBUILD instead or get an AI to cough up a legit one. 😅

Maybe. lol
You could just create a arch account and add it to the AUR yourself. Might have to wait a few days though I think the Arch team have been better about not letting people create new accounts and post AUR packages right away. :)

I've had one for a while & attempted package updates a while ago. Wound up struggling with the AUR git, which kept yelling errors at me with every new push.

Ideally, you still need to buy LSFG for the LSFG-VK dll.

People also need to keep in mind that, despite the devs claims, there's substantial evidence that MAKO is more vibe coded than otherwise claimed. Personally, I'd recommend the latest 2.0.0 release candidate of LSFG-VK:

https://builds.lsfg-vk.dev/

I'm using the latest 2.0.0 release candidate and it works great.

Ah, I'll have to buy it later then. If LSFG-VK is still the best way, I'll aim in that direction.

Make sure you go into the LSFG Game Versions & Beta's under Steam and select lsfg-vk. Failure to do so will result in VSFG-VK 2.0.0 not working:
