PlayStation 5 Emulator KyTyPS5 Hits Another Major Milestone, As It Now Runs Gran Turismo 7 With No Graphical Glitches

“While there are no visible graphical glitches, Gran Turismo 7 isn't exactly playable on PC via the KyTyPS5 emulator yet. As the framerate doesn't even hit 20 FPS, there's still some work to be done to bring performance to the level required to enjoy the game. Still, considering how games like the aforementioned Demon's Souls remake went from booting to running at 60 FPS and above on the emulator, it will likely not take much longer for the racing game to reach the required performance.

Aside from Gran Turismo 7, as Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to become the game to emulate on PC ahead of its official release, we should expect the KyTyPS5 emulator to continue making fast progress in the coming weeks. The high chances of Rockstar Games' title becoming playable on PC ahead of its release are likely the reason why it could make its debut on the platform as early as the first quarter of 2027.“

Runs at 12-24 FPS from what I have seen. I'll wait for the decomp/recomp.

That thing is coming along really quickly. I guess Demon's Souls is borderline playable for real right now. While certainly a long, long way from being truly feasible across the board, it's pretty impressive for an emulator of a current console.
