The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt: Official Thread

Is anybody encountering an issue where after clicking play and steam the game window remains minimized behind the steam interface. And when you click on it, it's a smaller window that does not take up the entire screen? I am encountering thus and have been from the very start (prior to any mods) and no amount of tweaking and help from AI has solved the issue. Done a bunch of things like bypass the red launcher , create a desktop shortcut to bypass launching in steam, toggling between borderless window and fullscreen, and fiddling around with various AMD Adrenalin and Windows settings. I don't think it's an issue in steam.I think it has to be something with windows and the game itself.
I am gaming at 4k and when the game window opens , it's taking up maybe half of my screen in a smaller window in the corner.
I can get it to open full screen by toggling between borderless window and full-screen but it's annoying to have to do that every single time I launch the game. I have been doing that , but I would rather fix the problem.

If anyone has encountered this , have you found a fix?
I can't fully avoid going through steam because I am using a custom steam controller profile.

Also, another bug I've encountered is that sometimes after combat I won't be able to click A and interact with anything for quite some time.It's like the game and things that i'm still in a combat state. There are not any enemies around.
If anyone has encountered this , is there a solution for this?
