Steam deck alternative on the cheap? Like a tablet with a gaming controller?

So I'd like something similar to my Playstation Portal, but for PC streaming. Any thoughts? Under $200 preferably and I assume it wouldn't be all in one, I'd have to get a decent enough small tablet, and maybe a separate controller to stream from my PC....

I love the size, weight, screen, and feel of the PS Portal.... but it's PS only. I was hoping someone would hack it and let us do steam streaming but nada.

Thoughts?

And yeah I have a decent enough laptop, but it's not the same. I'm ok with that for travel but around the house I like the pick up and go option...

You can use a phone or tablet plus a controller to stream from your PC. The Steam Link app is built exactly for that. There are several controller options out there - any bluetooth controller will work. I personally like the Gamesir G8+. And you can find 3d printable mods that will let you use it on an 11" tablet.

The Logitech G Cloud was built for this. I don't think they are in production anymore but are fairly affordable on ebay. https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/shop/p/cloud-handheld-gaming.940-000198
