Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection

If you played with a mouse and keyboard and didn't notice the issues before then you are laughably blind. I played the game with a controller but I checked it out because people kept complaining at the time and it was fucking horrendous just panning around with the mouse.

There's now an "Unofficial PC Port" of Nathan Drake Collection: https://www.dsogaming.com/news/uncharted-the-nathan-drake-collection-unofficial-pc-port-released/
You need the PS4 ROM (it basically works like a single-game emulator with a really slick front-end), but it's a pretty solid solution once get get that sorted. The same team made one for Bloodborne a couple weeks ago, too.

If you've only played Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy, I can't recommend the first 3 titles enough. Minus the graphics being a little rudimentary by comparison, I think all 3 of these titles are better games.

Any one find a file dump for this? PM me a link if you have one please.
My usual sources are over loaded or no longer host links.

There is a GitHub that has a CSV with links to download PKG files directly from PSN. Don't know if it works, though. You'll need ShadPKG to decrypt it.

The PC Port runs pretty well besides some hitching here and there, almost feels like a UE5 title.
I'm running it @ 4K with the 120fps setting and DLAA, with an average of 102fps.

I haven't tried out the FG yet as it isn't necessary imo.
The graphics and front end are leaps and bounds above the RPCS3 version that I was playing.
No crashing but the stutters can be bad in some areas and not noticeable in others.

And make sure you have a good CPU, I was seeing usage up to 70% and temps in the mid 70's at 4K.
KB/M support is very well implemented with mouse look that works like a champ vs RPCS3.

I'll report back on the other 2 games once I finish Drake's Fortune.

My 12700KF runs perfectly fine in this, though I have a 4090 so it basically only needs to walk lol.

4K DLAA at 4K and it's a locked 120fps outside of cutscenes which are 60 and initial load shader precomp.

I do however get a crash shortly after the 2nd boat arrives on the first game, this is consistent, the 2nd game also crashes early into the start so it seems some bugs still exist.

That's the knock on almost all (modern) emulated titles and pseudo-ports like this one. They pretty much all do that the first time a new area, mode, etc. loads. It isn't intolerable, but it's annoying. Definitely an argument against "the emulated version of this is better in every way" until somebody solves that. I guess some people share shaders, so there's that.

As far as this Uncharted port goes, from what I could tell this one is pretty early in development. DSO tends to post these unofficial ports as soon as they learn of them, so some are more polished than others. The Bloodborne port made by the same dev team is pretty far along and gets pretty substantial updates every few days. I suspect this one will, too.

IMO the first 3 are far more fun than 4. I liked the first 3 so much that I replayed them all on Crushing difficulty after finishing them on Hard, but I couldn't even force myself to get to the end of 4. With each subsequent iteration the spectacle just gets more and more unbelievable while the story progressively gets to be too front and center which makes the low/boring parts more in your face and noticeable over the older games.

2<1<<<3<<<<4 for me. Never played Lost Legacy as they had already lost me with 4.

4 suffered from being two games they stitched together. The first half might as well just be a movie game like Until Dawn. The middle is a bunch of empty open world areas, and the end is like the final areas of Uncharted 2 and 3 on the hardest difficulty. It's a mess even if the dialogue and writing are better. It's just such a tonal shift.

Lost Legacy is a better game than Uncharted 4 is, but the story and dialogue are pretty wack. Nadine is such a boring character it might've been better if Chloe just had schizophrenia and was talking to herself. Still, the combat is top notch. It's closer to the older titles.

Lost Legacy is definitely not better then 4. I couldn't even finish it.

In my experience, Xenia and RPCS3 never exhibited this type of stuttering before, and I have played several games on each platform.
The only stutters I would come across is when a GoW game would auto save in Xenia.

Could be the Vulkan rendering?

Hasn't crashed for me yet with a 7800X3D & 4070S.
I got as far as the sub.

Maybe? It's a definitely issue with ShadPS4 and all the Unofficial PC ports I've tried that require you to have the actual console ROMs handy to run them. I dunno. I have RPCS3 setup to run via Vulkan and it's hit and miss based on the game anyway. Some are great (fighting games especially) and some (Twisted Metal comes to mind) are a mess.

Probably doing realtime recompiling, which newer emulators started doing as hardware got stronger since it's more accurate than an interpreter.

That makes sense.

I'm having to reinstall it since I thought deleting the PKG. file would free up 40GB, but it seems you need that file, even after using ShadPs4PLUS to decrypt it into another folder, now it just errors out when I go to play.

Hopefully my save file still works.
