GPU Waterblocks kill gpus?

I sometimes watch these videos from a gpu repair technician, he likes to complain about how the gpu waterblocks can kill gpus.
Due to the different the uneven pressure and stress that a gpu waterblock can transmit to a gpu pcb, flexing it and making the components pop.

I've never had a problem. With EK, Alphacool gpu waterblocks. Well, I don't have them a long time though
 
Nope, just something to get people to comment on the video to feed the algorithm. I've waterblocked maybe 20 graphics cards in the last 17 years? None went bad. Heck, I still have a GTX 1080 that I recently pulled, and it was used for over a decade. I still have some R9 290X's that still probably work, and even an older GTX 580 that's nearing 16 years.

Current graphics cards with waterblocks on them are a RTX 4080 Super, and a RTX 3070 Ti. I'll wager they'll be good a decade from now when T1000's are hunting us down.
