“The scarcity of BFC hardware in public leaks may be more related to Intel's sampling policy than to availability. The leaker claims these processors are being kept within a restricted testing group, preventing them from appearing through the standard qualification-sample pipeline that usually produces early benchmarks and hardware detections. This way, no public benchmark scores are surfacing, leaving us in complete dark before the official launch happens.”

This kind of thing is never a good sign. It means its probably not a great performer in its current state or there is something else going on with it that's likely to earn it a bad reputation. Running too hot, pulling crazy power or something along those lines.

Could be, but I think, as they are so early into this and what they are doing is so massively different, it's probably just running into validation issues. So, rather than deal with all 12 or 13 companies, they are sticking to their core 4: Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens EDA, and Ansys. And once they have made their notes and Intel has had some time to tweak accordingly, then they can do the wider rollout to the rest of their testers.

You might be right. Only time will really tell on that.

Same here. The 270K Plus is pretty fire (and thank goodness it's not literally).

Yeah I sold my 270K, my 265K overclocks to the frickin moon and for gaming I don't need the extra e-cores. I'm using a 5070 currently and its not really fast enough to need an X3D chip at 1440p anyways.

I'm hoping this big cache works out well.

100% on this. But is anyone really surprised? I still hate them for the 13900k they sold me that fucked up

I read they were trying to cut down on leakers a few months back. So this is just ensuring are less leakers. Ice Man Out and those other 4 Chan Avatar guys were leaking out specs like it's nobody's business.
