New EX lineup for Phanteks cases (EX5, EX5 Plus, EX5 Max, EX6, EX6 Max)

Looks like it's designed around visuals and much less practical than said Thermaltake case. Front intake fans in the chambers would've been nice. Skimming the video, looks like another overpriced, flashy, case to forget about for me.

Yeah, will have to see some reviews on thermals for sure. I wonder when they'll make a tunnel system instead of mesh. Feels like having a big exhaust would be better.

Reminds me of the old Thermaltake Level 10 GT and Razer Project Christine. However, I think I might actually like this version.

Well definitely can't say that's an "aquarium case" anymore.

Thermals can NOT be good on that thing, or has to sound like a jet engine on the taxi way to work.

Edit : ok watched the video, they used an AOI for the CPU so they can pull that heat out and this a screen top and bottom of those GPU protrusions, so I guess you could cool those two things down, still want to cool down your memory and VRMs though.

Just got home and found this at my garage door. I canceled the pre-order over 2 weeks ago. Someone goofed. :p

Free case, not bad :p
Maybe not. Got an email a couple hours ago. Newegg (via Best Buy) apologized for the mistaken shipment and requested its return. A FedEx return label was attached. They offered a 10% discount if I want to buy it. I have 2 weeks to decide. Hope to see some reviews soon. If the heat issues are overblown I'll keep it.

Your Rights When You Get Unordered Merchandise

By law, companies can’t send unordered merchandise to you, then demand payment. That means you never have to pay for things you get but didn’t order. You also don’t need to return unordered merchandise. You’re legally entitled to keep it as a free gift.

Sellers can send you merchandise that is clearly marked as a gift, free sample, or the like. And, charitable organizations can send you merchandise and ask for a contribution. It's your right to keep such merchandise as a free gift.

Sometimes, you might sign up for a free trial, only to discover that the company starts sending you products every month, and billing you. That might be a scam. Learn about free-trials, auto-renewals, and negative option subscriptions and what to do if you're charged for products you don't want or didn't order.

Gonna return it. My 4080S won't fit in the enclosure without some serious cable bending action. Even then, it's still extremely tight. <Giggity>
