I have a GIGABYTE B550I AORUS PRO AX AMD AM4 ITX Motherboard, Supports Ryzen 5000/4000/3000 Series, DDR4, 6+2 Power Phase, 2X M.2, PCIe 4.0, USB-C, WiFi 6, 2.5 GbE LAN, Q-Flash Plus, WiFi EZ-Plug, RGB Fusion, the bios refuses to come up most times, can't boot to USB & boot menu won't come up. Anywaty any issues, my dad said it is a freq. return now, are these all dieing to fast. I want atleast the same features. I would look for a review vid. Vision isues with reading, oddly no vid. audio on sites, but when I play a vid. on system drive, I have sound...

Do you have some type of fast boot enabled? If you can occasionally get into your BIOS, the next time you do, make sure to shut it all off. Start there, and take photos of your settings.

Nope, it is going bad. This is only recent, it is very slow to boot. The key to bring up the boot menu nothing, the BIOS hardly comes up & a few weeks ago it was fine The board logo doesn't show most times. The BIOS won't update, it can't read file. Tried 2 times, downloaded file twice. .

replace the cmos battery and do a good clearing (battery out, unplug, press power, sit for 5+min)
if its actually dying, just get another b550(amazon, sort by rating), they are all basically the same.

CMOS was cleared, all that & support was called. So went through the official stuff. Return was accepted. So is that a good board, some amazon review, not so good now.

With that taken care of your selection options are now pretty much whatever's in stock and not priced sky-high.

For what it's worth, in my experience, both Asus and Gigabyte have been either great or terrible, with little in between. I'm not alone, there. With current limited availability and wacky prices, it's probably smarter to find a seller with a good return policy and payment provider that offers buyer protection, rather than compare features on a spreadsheet of different makes and models.

So, on the contrary side, I was talking to a colleague at work about my surprise when my wifi (I use wired though) disappeared off my MSI X870E Tomahawk Wifi. And I tried everything to bring it back, but somebody told me they only way to do it was with a full cmos reset... and viola! Fixed. When I told him that, he too, having an MSI motherboard, checked, and sure enough his Wifi had totally gone away as a device too. Now, it hasn't happened again to me, but people tell me it's just a matter of time.

Idk they all pretty ok to good anymore this new machinst b450 seems to not mind and posted right away and likes my gold rated 650w Galaxy. Other than the unsuppported memory bug that you probaly don't have no more no this board don't want to post old worn out kits..the ami bios is from like 2024 this board so a newer kit probaly posts dual channel. so i'm still stuck in slot 2 it don't read capacity correctly the 2nd dimm added to slot 4..and post the full bank 2 like your suppose to. but thats ok still hardly noticeable and running xmp its like booting posting an ddr3 1866 kit. I found imo its better to spend on something thats not the crazy high gpu market right now. Nvidia Prebuilts are to blame probably and their burning killing cards too cause the cheap ups they put in them..its hard telling how bad without looking..must be some pretty junky ups's. but yeah some good main parts times good with ups's/units i would get a gold rated unit right now how bad some of them must be.

Asrock B550M ITX/ac is that a good one, I have heard they frie some AMD CPUs, but ut was 9xxx not sure what, but I have a 5800x.
