I bought this Filco MT2 TKL in 2015 and have been using it daily ever since...things got away from me a bit and I have not cleaned this board in maybe 2yrs.. (totally cleaned I mean I tried to blow dust out of it and cleaned keycaps ..but not a full tear down and clean for awhile now)

one thing I learned I will never lube the costar stabs again, tried it last time I took this thing apart and a lot of cat hair and debris stuck to them... not fun..

all in all it wasn't that bad for having pet and not having done this in nearly two years or so.

Still waiting on key-caps to dry so using this GMK67 for the minute... I like the filco much better to be honest.

Well done! Still haven't found my perfect keyboard to do this, yet, but one day.

fair enough, I have always really liked this keyboard and despite trying some newer boards I still just preferred this one, now that filco seems to be out of business I am looking to buy a spare have some bids on few on ebay right now.
Nice, The switch plate held up pretty well.

In my case, mine got some corroded spots.
An upside (one of few imho) advantages of being in CA is basically nothing rusts... so yeah the plate on mine is in excellent condition so far.

Put the key-caps back on... going to try to use the cover that shipped w/ the keyboard.. I imagine that will last about 3 days before I give up on that idea... would keep the keyboard cleaner to be fair probably?
