Not sure if this is the right board, but I need some advice on two possible future builds of mine (LANParty)

I have never really gone out of my way to build a computer that's easy for me to use. I spend more of my time trying to figure out how to make my crappy builds acceptable. My favorite PC I've ever built/used had a LANParty nF4 board, and I want to setup another righ with a lanparty board. However, I always feel like a total noob trying to set up the build, so if you can please read these two lists and tell me if you have any suggestions of what to change/add!
(I'm looking for input!! Please share ur opinions and i am happy to listen!!)

Build 1:
DFI LANParty DK p55-T3eH9
Core i7-875K (Maybe a Xeon X3470 or X3480 but I know that will be difficult for me to set up)
<Ram suggestions needed, 4x4gb>
~800W PSU
other periphals will be added once i get replies

!!!!!i would prefer some badass looking ram

Build 2:
LANParty DK X58-T3eH6
Core i7-975 extreme edition (Again possible Xeon W3690)
<need ram suggestions, 3x8gb for i7 and im pretty sure xeon ram is different, i need help with this!!>
~800W PSU

im a total noobm i know there may be many errors in these buildsm but thats why im posting this!! please let me know what i should do to these builds! also please suggest some awesome cases.

if u have any of these pieces for sale, please let me know as well, i would love to have one of these finished before the end of the year

What is your budget? What is your use for these? ie high fps gaming, 4k gaming, 3d modelling, web browsing etc.

My budget is around 1k but i know im gonna spend more than that anyway LOL. These are really for general use, other than occasional server hosting and html projects i really only use my pc for counter strike, web browsing, and graphic design
