That laptop gives me anxiety sitting on an edge like that. If it goes, all those ports are going to break off! Please be kind and put it away from edge of desk more securely.:)

i have a bunchhh of skins for mine, got the base and most of them at a con years ago but my gf got me the counter strike one for my bday
 
That does look like a mid-'00s time capsule. Pretty much what my apartment bedroom looked like when I was going to university. My desk was a roller, though, which doubled as a mount for my steering wheel on consoles. CRT was a Sun branded 21" Trinitron.

I got the Steelseries version when the Zboard wore out. It just wasn't the same, though. I have the Doom 3 keyset for the Zboard. I kind of wish somebody would make a new modular keyboard with modern sensibilities.
