This. I've got two Tualatins on slockets for a couple of retro machines running on an Asus P2B and P3B-F (legendary BX boards). The Tualatins have more cache memory as well. I bought these a very long time ago.Is this for some sentimental build? You could build a fleet of socket 370 systems for the cost of that cpu alone...
I have an abit bh6 in the garage that I use a slotket adapter for with a 1ghz coppermine, you can get 1ghz coppermine socket 370 cpus for under $20 and use a better cooler... You might even be able to get a tualatin adapter to use them, highest was 1.4ghz on both pentium 3 and celeron tualatins. Tualatin celerons had 100mhz fsb. Can get tualatins for around $20 too.
Coppermines topped out around 1.3ghz, so running 133fsb was hit or miss, and tualatins around 1.7 if I recall correctly. If you wanted to get nuttier, get a pentium iii-s but the price jumps again.
