Final Fantasy VII Revelation (Remake Part 3)

I'm hoping it helps them unfuck the pacing a little. I think they have like 45-50% of the content from the original left between it and disc 3.

At least they aren't trying to spread a 6 hour section into 40 like remake.

I unironically think they could cut like half of remake and rebirth and the games would just straight up be better.

I disagree with Remake, I honestly think it was the perfect length. Agree with Rebirth though. Kind of weird how you exit the tunnel between region 1 and 2 and it takes something like 16 hours (I did do the side content) to get onto the boat, and then probably almost another dozen hours to get out of the resort down.

I really do hope they did make the side content truly optional. As in not interrupting the story with tutorials and other stuff, and then drop 50 mini games on you and say "you can do this later". Seems like that is what they did do though. I don't mind some side content, but the pacing in Rebirth was just awful at times.

Agree with Rebirth being a slog in spots (the linear sections were great, though).

I imagine this title will be more Rebirth than Remake, but hopefully the open ended nature of the world travel makes it less tedious.

I do like the introduction of the jobs system and the options that opens up - I'm just hoping you can keep their default look and not have to switch to the 'job' costume.

Also agree with the Red XIII voice reveal - that was jarring. It probably would've been better had they gone with the little kid voice from the start.
