I really hope they put these fans in a better case. Both better looking and better built case. Maybe with a couple extra 3.5" bays. Would replace my Fractal Torrent in a heartbeat.
 
JFC, I've been waiting for a proper replacement for my HAF X and could never decide on anything recent (I even made a thread on it a while back). But I see this still doesn't have the 230mm fan on the side for the GPU. 🫤

I'll watch the review though and may still order one. Honestly they only reason I want to replace the HAF X is for modern IO since I can't ever find replacement boards online for it. My USB ports on it are trashed and I'd like USB C at this point.

Man, I miss the giant side intake fans from the old HAF X days, but getting modern front IO and USB-C without messing with bay adapters is almost worth the upgrade alone

$200 seems fair to me for it. I paid $200 for my HAF X in 2009. That would be $319 today or $129 in 2009 USD.

Same here, I don't know what today's case maker's aversion to side panel fans is other than maybe aesthetics because it partially blocks the view of the GPU. I care more about function than form and as long as it's cool and quiet that's all that matters to me unless they go out of their way to make it look hideous somehow. But I think I'll be picking this case up soon now and finally retire my ol'HAF X.
 
This case seems cool. I still have a HAD X in the basement. Prices seems fair given the fans alone are proably over $100. I get it that it is all about airflow but I think it would.be perfect if you could put a 420 AIO in the top. HAD II 700 might be a case I would buy in the future once released. Eventho I don't need a case at all.

The airflow through this case has to be felt! I have my fans spinning as slow as I can and it still beats regular 120mm fans front and back. Currently powered down waiting for an SSD from a fellow forum member. Yes, I will peel the plastic off of the video card...

Watch the Jay2cents video on smoke pull it pulls air across the GPU pretty good.
 
I'm wondering if thing will fit on my Nightstand which is a VCR table I built in woods class in the 90s which is 22" this case is 22" long so the bottom feet of the case might still work out.

The front edge of the front feet are about 19.5 inches from the back edge of the case. You could get away with 19 1/4" inches which would give you 2 3/4" inches of cable room if up against a wall. Front to back of case edge to edge is 21 1/4".

Yes and no. With the scoop, you can fit two cages (up to 4 SSDs or 2 HDDs) side by side and 1 cage high. Without the scoop, you can fit all 3 cages. In order to use all 3 with the scoop, you will have to have a short PSU as the cables exiting the back of the PSU will be hitting the back stack of two cages. If you forgo the scoop, you can stack 1 high on one side and two high on the other side, side by side and use the other retainer slots that put the cages a little further from PSU for more cable breathing room. Even without the scoop, this case already has more airflow than many cases for component cooling including the GPU. I run my fans around 35% or 560-590 RPM and they still move a lot of air.

Damn I have x4 SSDs 4TB that looks pretty tight for space. My current case is Asus Tuf I only bought it for SSD mounts basically plus it looks cool.

I have 3 SSDs installed so 4 wouldn't be too much trouble, but if you plan to add more, get NVMe drives! If you don't care about aesthetics, you could lay the other cage in the main chamber above the PSU and stick some foam rubber feet on it.
