Only interesting if used for dynamic blanking / crt like simulation in hardware at all refresh rates / vrr, which this does not appear to be. That is to say it should be able to accept a 80-140 fluctuating vrr signal, map that to 1000hz, use a consistent scan line blanking algorithm and you get maximum clarity without undue dimming (sub 1% dimming) without needing to generate 1000hz with your pc.

the problem is that the actual liquid crystal transitions aren't going to keep up. The screen could be running at 1000 fps but some of the pixels could take 10ms to update, if hte picture changes fast enough they never really get there.
