Laptop to Desktop Ram Converters

Anyone have any experience with converts like these, and if so how stable are they and does speed match desktop equivalents? I have a couple sticks of laptop ddr4 laying around and it'd be convenient if I could reuse them.

They work fine, you get the speed you expect, they even talk decently well with full size dram kits. the issue is the build quality of the adapters, you may find they require some light sanding to fit in the mobo without damaging the slot, the tolerances are a bit hit or miss.
