Only if you buy the digital version. Honestly these special editions console are dumb but as polonyc2 just proved that it works..

I currently don't own a console...last one I had was the PS4 but sold it...the Wolverine design is pretty cool...none of the other custom ones really impressed me enough to want to buy it- Spider-Man, Last of Us etc...but this one actually looks impressive...plus for the past few years Sony was releasing their biggest titles on PC so it made buying a console pointless for me...for someone who doesn't currently own a console it makes sense to get the unique one versus the standard

This will probably be the first big Sony exclusive (besides Ghosts of Yotei now) I'm not buying even if it turns out to look pretty good. They have just really turned me off with all the anti-consumer practices they're doing now along with considerably price hikes just for the base PS+ tier. Before you could routinely find 12 month PS+ gift cards for $35 and now they're $60+ still from the standard $80 price. Also most of their studios seem so ideologically compromised, I feel compelled to not support them in any way.

If it came to PC, I would consider buying it at a deep discount I guess.

The game has all the telltale signs that it will be disappointing and most of the criticism so far has been valid. I expect the game to sell well enough to make a profit, but probably miss sales goals (Wolverine is the 2nd most popular Marvel character, you would have to fail pretty hard to make a loss). No doubt IGN etc will give it a 9 or 10 out of 10. But really they are just an extension of the marketing department for Sony etc since the major shareholders are the same.

Of course the game could come out and be great, but pattern recognition has me doubting that. So I'm not going to speculate more on this until it comes out or more solid information is released.
 
It just looks incredibly repetitive to me. But then people seem to love the Spiderman games and I thought they were repetitive and boring AF after the shine of the web-slinging wore off.

The covers sold out pretty much instantly in Aus. Probably to scalpers since it’s already up on eBay for 3x the price. I’m grabbing a controller since it’s a great looking controller. The game I’m taking a wait and see approach. I had it on preorder for a bit but cancelled a couple of days ago when I saw the latest footage.
